I know lots of people dont ship them. But for me I see a lot of sweet moments with them. And kun is more like playing Tom and Jerry with her. He seems to really like her maybe not in a romantic way more like he really just like her.
And sorry the video is in bad quality cause my phone is broken and i had to edit with my old phone and it was a mess. So ignore the sounds which are kinda out of place. 😥

I feel exactly the same way. I know Kun is gentle towards everyone, but ever since Kun says “if you feel stressed, it’s okay, I’ll bear the burden with you” (direct translation from Chinese), I can’t help but see so much more gentleness in Kun’s interactions with Xin. Kun seems to understand Xin a lot, from how he can spot XIN’s dance style in her teammates’ movements and thus accurately guessed that Xin was the one who taught them the moves to that last BTS where Kun understands XIN’s questions in a heartbeat (when Xin was asking Kun which way of expressing emotion in the performance he would choose given different options). Kun’s replies to Xin was also super gentle when he keeps emphasizing that it is subjective and that Xin should do whatever she feels best and most comfortable with. They seem to resonate on a different level altogether compared to Kun’s interactions with other trainees. I see genuine respect towards each other between them.
And Kun totally knows Xin from before they met, he said so and says that he has watched MANY of her dance training vids. And given that Xin is close friends with Liu Ye (from since that same childhood competition when they where teammates) who was Kun’s past teammate in SWIN too, I’m not surprised. Also Xin after all does have some name for herself in the Chinese street dance circle as an idol from since she was young.
Yeah I totally agree with you. they seems to understand each other on a different level. but I feel xin liu being xin Liu is kinda hard to get to open up. so I hope kun can crack that wall. She reallly needs someone like him
yesssss i get that toooo but he never praises her, I dno if it's an ego cos she won over him on the competition they were both in, or just that he just expects it so doesn't even bother praising her, or just that he treats her as a peer or even someone he admires and thus doesn't feel qualified enough to give praise

ZL Lyrics yx is very well regarded in the street dance community in spite of her idol status and a lot of the pioneers love her like their own kid/kin. so dance wise, for her to participate in an idol competition, it IS true tt kun is not as qualified to comment on her technique, only maybe to comment on her presentation n stage impact cz he does hv more experience there (he’s been in the idol scene longer than her)

In ep16 Kun had this q&a session with the trainees and Xin wanted to ask a more personal question and he said she was scary hahaha! And also during the 2nd eliminations when Xin was giving her speech about her life journey, you could see Kun getting teary-eyed too, like he could really understand how tough it is for her. Really love the small interactions between the two!

i know a lot of you guys don't ship these 2 but i really see a gentle connection between them. And even though xin always looks ok for me she looks depressed. And she always take care of others but no one will take care of her. so I really hope some one will do cause she been through a lot. And i hope that person will be kun cause if anything these 2 will understand each other more than anyone.
I am agree with you. Xin always take care of others but I think no one really take care of her. I do feel this because no gave her encouragement or appreciation message shown before they chose the center position for the theme song (Although I am not sure if it part of editing). Not because the other girls do not care of her, but she do not show her hardship or do not share to the girls as Xiao Wei mentioned :(

I think more than anything kun sees xin as an equal not just a mere trainee, he understands her motives on coming to the show, he sees himself in her and encourages her to improve her and shower her true self he also understands the burden she is carrying as both of them have high expectations to be successful
It's because Xin used to beat Kun in a talent show but after that show and a lot more show+awards Xin wasn't getting famous so she decided to join this show for a fresh start
I remember when Xin was in the lesson with Kun for "Miss You 3000", she called him 坤坤制作人, as in Producer KUN KUN like legit KUN KUN like a nickname I- 😂😭❤️

I saw a chemistry between them since the first episode like its a strong chemistry that even if they don't interact much you can see in their every little interaction that there is something special between them. Idk if I'm gonna get hated or not idc, I ship them so much as friends or wtv it is. They match each other and understand each other well. They support each other in their most comfortable state and theyre both so capable in what they're doing as well as having such gentle personality

I really like the portion where Kun said that he'll be there for her. I really felt like the trainees saying 'awwww' or gushing because of his words. It was really sweet (friendship-wise or not, whichever is your view, it's sweet). Xinliu getting input from Kun is like how I get input from my friend when it comes to what I create. Even providing what they thought if they were the one creating the project I was making.
Also, from the time Kun said he watched her dance videos, I already had something of a wonder on why. I think he has respect for her dancing skills, so it's why he watches them, but then when he said he'll be there for her. Okay, he said that on a recording, so it shouldn't mean that much, should it? So, i brushed it off, since I swore I would not ship any idol or actors in real life.
Yet, there was that time Xinliu got covered with another trainees long hair and Kun saw it even if she was at the far corner from where he stood. Then, I find this video, why are your eyes so sharp to catch those small details?! I swear, fans are great detectives when they want to be.

I have the same feeling!! They have many similar expereince, and both all-round, so Kun appreciates her and may pay more attention to her during the training. It's really warm that Kun would like to share the burden with her if she feels stressful. During the rehearsal of second stage performance , Kun could immediately get the point when Xin asked him for advice on dancing. Hope Xin can also be No.1 like Kun two years ago.

I've been binge-watching YWY clips and your vid appeared on my rec. Tbh, I've never expected to see this ship lol! I thought from the audition that there was more of a professional respect between them, until I saw another vid with the miss you 3000 practice and yu yan's hair scenes. And when the QnA segment was posted that pretty much sealed the deal for the shippers.
Funny how Kun was shipped with the PD of his season (Yixing) and now he's a PD and being shipped with a trainee who's pretty similar to him in many ways.

Well many people warn us not to ship yuxin with kun from the beginning of the program.
Actually I also don't want to make it a big deal cuz I don't want both of them to feel uncomfortable.
But honestly everyone can see how gentle they are with each other, people just choose to either ignored it or keep it in.
I have the same view as you. Yuxin always take care of other but not herself. I want someone to care for her and make sure that she's okay. My angel has been through a lot. N for this, I think xukun fits the role very well. The way that he support her in such a gentle and caring way is definitely helping her to heal and improve herself.
I hope to see more of them n wish for their happiness more than anything whether they end up together romantically or not.

Just watching this again reminds me of the dream I had last night
My dream was kun asked xin on a date she agreed and they went to a cafe. Xin was feeding kun a salad and kun was feeding xin some beef of some sort. After that I had another dream that on the very last episode of ywy kun directly said to xin “baby I love you". Then another weird dream was they were in a hot pot restaurant (no one knew they were dating) and some fan found kun and xin together and took a video kun looked over and wasn't really shocked (the fan didn't know the person he was sitting with was a girl and xin was looking the other way from the fan) then he smiled to the fan xin asked “why are you smirking?" She turned around and found out there was a fan taking a vid of them she was shocked and with a speed of lightning the turned her head back (she doesn't know the fan was filming and was not that worried cause they won't be able to take a photo. The fan left so did kun and xin they were holding hand while putting on their disguise (they weren't putting on the disguise that time cause the were eating). They went home safely and boom kun and xins weibo just blew up they looked at weibo and found the vid of them they were scared and finally at the variety show that kun was in he then revealed that they were dating and he asked her right before the last episode airs a few years later they both went famous and decided to get married they had one son and the end
P.S that was one heck of a dream I say and the most funnest if I can I would just play that again and again in my dreams 😭😅😆😄

ah let me remind myself why I ship them.. tbh I am a rational fan, at first I only know kun lisa ship bc it was sooo popular and they look good tgt, but I don't see what their shipper see (well everyone has different view, right?) and I only see kun as good looking boy (I don't know cpop at all, only know lisa at first) so through this show I also know kun.
