I usually love your videos and I like some animal places you go, but I can not see this one, I feel terrible for them. They need a lot of space to be ok, and they are confined and look like puppets, is truly sad. It's a two hour flight, how long would it have taken by shinkansen out of curiosity? Or is it not physically possible to take a train to that area (I'm not native to Japan)
Assuming you're talking about a journey from Tokyo to the capital of Hokkaido, Sapporo, it would take approximately 9 hours by Shinkansen (bullet train). The fare wouldn't differ much from a flight. Thank you!!☺️

Yeah I have to agree with others here. Really horrible about the bears and their treatment. Also didn't like that they seemingly had nowhere to shelter themselves from the pouring rain. You shouldn't be patronizing places like this where animals are held captive. Cats are different, but Bears are literally wild animals and they should not be confined to those small spaces. I hope you will actually read your comments and listen to your followers/subscribers and take what we're saying into serious consideration.
Unfortunately, people who like this kind of thing and are saying this is cute are the reason why these awful kinds of attractions still exist. There is a lot of ignorance about animal welfare in these parts of the world. People here in Japan see nothing wrong in keeping dolphins captive to entertain the masses. Very sad.

The bears beg for food because they're denied regular feeding to encourage the behavior. This is heartbreaking and horrible to watch
I'd love to go visit there and if they alow it donate a hour to help construct some bear puzzles to help aid enrichment
