- Hey Curlfriends! I've got a review of aloe vera hair products today that are really great for getting the curl definition we all crave! I've been trying out the Herbal Essences Potent Aloe Collection and I've got lots to say! Check out my thoughts on the shampoo, conditioner, mask, and curl cream - all of which are free of sulfates, parabens, dyes and mineral oils!

Thank you so much for this video and all your videos. It has helped me a lot. I tried this whole set for two weeks and I love how vibrant and alive my curls are. I wish the conditioner had more thickness to it. I felt like I had to add a whole lot to my hair to get it more moisturized. That's just minor and I can work with it. I love it! The shampoo matters up well. The hair mask was very good for my hair it gave me just what I needed.The curl cream is my favorite, wish I had a bigger bottle. It smells amazing.Thanks again and you look amazing and your daughter is beautiful.

Oooh not for me, unfortunately. I need sulfates in my shampoo due to a difficult scalp (seborrheic dermatitis). I need the stronger / harsher clean or my scalp will act up. That is why I love that not every brand jumped on the sulfate-free bandwagon. I mean if they do both, that would be fine, catering to everybody is better, IMO.
I have the same condition so I relate to this a lot!! What works for me is alternating shampoos, I use nizoral shampoo 2 times a week and a mild sulfate free shampoo in between to give my scalp some time to breath and it has worked wonders! I don’t have an itchy scalp and the flakes are almost gone! You can also control an oily scalp by diluting a few drops of tea tree oil in aloe gel and applying that to ur scalp before u wash it this also stops itching as well, hope you find what works for you xx

Your curls look amazing! I just started purchased the Herbal Essence Cream in that line to do for my wash and go next week. It smells so amazing. I've smelled nice things before but not like this. You are the second person who's said they didnt need a leave in when using the cream. I will try it without my leave in then. I want to also get their spray like that. I am glad for your video because I would like to finally switch my shampoo & conditioner to trying that line as well.
Congratulations on your baby. Is it a boy or a girl? I forgot. I know that babies cannot be masked during these times but I have a suggestion when you guys are taking your baby to the doctor appointments. Try investing in a baby carrier netting (the coverings that look like a bridal's veil) and get the one for carseats and or strollers and cover the baby and then take a thin baby blanket and put over top of the stroller. Your baby will be able to breathe and he or she will be protected. Stay safe and thanks again for this awesome video. Chao. Blessings~

Although I'm Panamanian my hair type is like a 4A and 4B and a little pass my shoulders in the front and almost to my bra length across my back (I had to trim it 2 weeks ago and she looks healthier now), so I'm hoping it works on my hair type. I dont get caught up in hair types but I thought thats the only way to explain to you my texture. My hair loves avocado oil and I know this cream has it in there. Blessings~

Smells so amazing
I'm happy to see a review video. I'm eager to try thess products but I have to be hinest, I wish they'd eliminate the silicones in some of their products. I'm not a strict curly girl so maybe they'll work for my hair. Either way, I have good gentle sulfate shampoos to remove the silicone
My boyfriend uses this and the conditioner leaves my hair so soft I love it

Hi love the video. I was wondering what shampoo do you use to take the silicones out?
I just started using the shampoo and conditioner and it feels great. I have psoriasis on my scalp so I used the shampoo with some Tgel shampoo and my hair feels so clean and not stripped at all. The conditioner feels great. Super easy to comb out my hair in the shower, my hair felt heavier and didn’t get super frizzy like with other shampoos and conditioners I’ve tried. I have mostly 4c with some 4b and 4a parts so being able to use a small amount of product and it works is a plus and this does that! I really recommend it. I usually have to rotate shampoo and conditioners I use but I hope this stays good with my hair for awhile

It's definitely moisturizing enough! but if you're looking for definition on hair that's damaged, rely more on treatments than stylers! That's the secret!

Thank you! I mentioned in the video that the scent does linger. I don’t personally think it’s a strong scent. I like the scent a lot. But I do know that there are some people who prefer a scent that’s more subtle

@@Rose-xi8bs In that case stay away from Herbal Essences, or Pantene (all things I personally love), but they do have the stronger scents!

I would recommend you look for no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
I've tried sulfate free shampoos! Thanks for your recommendation! I've learned that with my hair, clarifying more often is necessary!

@@RisasRizos Hey!! The shampoo and condish didn’t work for me. They stripped my hair and left it dry. But, the curl cream was better. It’s not my number one, but I liked the thickness!

hey, my scalps very oily, would this be good?
I have a pretty oily scalp and find it's the same as any other shampoo for me! It definitely cleans well even without the sulfate but doesn't prolong when I need to wash or anything
