Hi, What is the actual size of the Bottom Bracket you eventually got, as it does not specify T47 on the Alpkit website. All it says is that it is a Sram Dub BSA 68mm. Very confusing. I've subscribed to your channel.
Thanks for subscribing! The titanium frame definitely takes a DUB T47 bottom bracket. I had the same issue and originally purchased a standard Dub BB, which thankfully does fit one of my other bikes.
Sorry forgot to ask as your one of the few people with the latest version frameset. Does the cable outer stop at the new head tube entry port or is it full length outer that runs through the frame? Thanks again
Don't apologise, I'm more than happy to help where I can 😊 The frame came with cable guides already installed, but as I'm running a wireless SRAM AXS eTap groupset I removed them. The only cable I have through the frame is the rear hydraulic brake cable, which enters at the front of the head tube and comes out half way along the chainstay just in front of the caliper mounting area. Hope that helps. Edit : I have to say it was one of the easiest internal cable jobs I've ever installed by the way!
Hi Just ordered the same v3 frame so would love some feedback. Is the top tube now round instead of the oval profile from the olde model? Just wondering how this works with a top tube bag “rolling”. Also just wondering why they have sent you the old fork with chunkier stays rather than the new one as pictured on the webpage?
Yes the top tube is round. I've personally never had an issue with rolling top tube bags, though I tend to use bolt on versions. I've yet to use one on this frame though so can't give an honest comment. They haven't sent me the old fork, it's the very same one as on the website from what I can tell. Be careful, some of their photos were out of date, as I know when I ordered they still had a photo of the external routed frame as the main Frame only order pic (they've since updated the webpage). Fingers crossed you get what you hope for! I'm still very much enjoying mine, though it's still early days.
Thanks for the reply and great to hear your still enjoying the frame. Do you mind me asking how tall you are? Yes I did notice the old pictures and also assuming the bb confusion was the move to T47, I remember seeing the spec as a 68/73 English threaded, it was your video that made me re look and realise it’s changed so thanks for that 👍 Should be here second week feb so looking forward to getting out. Maybe see you at the reiver in the future, ride safe Jim
@@bodukesrealworldcycling3897 Cheers Jim! I'm 5'11 and went for a medium frame with a 90mm stem. Technically I'm a large but having ridden a large Sonder Camino (albeit the ALU version) I knew I'd get away with a medium comfortably. I prefer a slightly smaller frame so I have more standover height when doing technical stuff. I've a mate who ordered the full build Camino Ti who's a similar height to me and he's gone for the large, and it sounds like his will be shipping the same time as yours. I'll be at this year's Reiver, hoping to finally crack that 200! Not sure whether I'll be on this bike or my Chamois Hagar yet though.
Exactly the same height and went for the large, will be running a 50-60mm stem similar to my mtb so hoping a good fit, should land the same time as your friend. Yea done the 200 last couple couple of years and 2022 was way more climbing but a fantastic event and very well organised. Good luck with the 200 this year if you decide to give it a go
Looking forward to meeting Sally!
Monday night squire!

Hi mate
Great Bike 👍
Is your frame has 74 seat tube angle ? If so, how did you find it compare to 73 ?
Yes it's a 74° seat angle. I'm too old to notice the nuance between a 74 and 73 degree seat angle I'm afraid.
@@TheRadGravelRider Thanks anyway
