2 Points Missing in the Explanation.
1. The Attestation letter doesn't affect students who are planning to pursue Masters/Phd or other post-graduate programs
2. The college list mentioned in the video stated 'Lambton College' but the Sarnia Campus is eligible for PGWP
btw im going to join Lambton in Sarnia with post-graduate certificate in full stack software development sep 2024, had me worried when news came out. But, straight went to official CIC website to confirm the details and voila: the rules dont affect me and i'm happy to start a new journey
p.s. Always wanted to study in Lambton College in sarnia itself from August last year.

u are actually going based on half-baked news. They have not yet confirmed which postgraduate course has the possibility for a PGWP. only masters and Ph.D. are absolute in this rule. if suddenly ur postgraduate is not eligible you will return back after studies. go only when ur sure u have a pgwp.

Her visa was filled on 22nd Dec 2023 and she received her study permit on 24th Jan 2024

Fanshawe Toronto is a well reputated college
I am also going there in may for my further studies
change the college as soon as you can. if the college loses DLI u will not get a PGWP. change the college to a public university or take a refund and try another college as soon as possible

@@jatinrathee1817 ircc states that if your college loses its DLI status when you are studying you will not receive a PGWP. Even immigration lawyers are advising to go to a public college. Don't be stupid and change your college to a public college as soon as possible.

Bhai no matter what saha told in his video doesnt mean he is telling the actual details. No hate to him but he was just going through the list he had, nothing wrong in it. But if you had doubts regarding anything, please confirm on the official IRCC/CIC websites. I like that they have mentioned everything in easy to understand english. Although SAHA is doing a great job but dont trust anyone other than the officials.

What about Lambton College in Sarnia. I applied for September intake but the starting date of program in my letter of acceptance is August 26. Will I be eligible for Post graduate work permit?
Lambton's Sarnia and Ottawa campuses are safe. Sarnia is pure public campus (main campus), and not a public private partnership. Ottawa campus is a tie-up, just to use other college's space. Sort of renting agreement in simplest of terms. So those two are operated by Lambton management itself. They are completely out of new change's radar. Problem, would be with the Mississauga and Toronto campus. So you are 110% safe, no matter the intake. I took admission in Mississauga campus myself and wondering if I can get deferral to Sarnia or Ottawa. I have been talking to college officials but still not clear. Although I am going for May intake so i also should not worry much but still dont want to take chance. You rest free and all the best for the future.
