- Distortions Unlimited visited Icons of Darkness, perhaps the worlds largest private collection of science fiction, horror and fantasy props, memorabilia, special effects and stage used costumes. Rich Correll gives Ed and Marsha an amazing tour of part of his private collection, which is displayed here at the Icons of Darkness Museum. Full of rare movie memorabilia, original stage used costumes, props and more this exhibit is a must see for fans! Rich shares tons of interesting facts and behind the scenes info about these amazing artifacts.
Icons of Darkness features rare costumes, props and memorabilia from science fiction, horror and fantasy movies such as Jurassic Park, Batman, Lord of the Rings, Predator, Alien, Childs Play, Nightmare On Elmstreet, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Terminator, Pan's Labyrinth, X-men, The Avengers and so many more.
The world's biggest personal sci-fi, horror, and fantasy collection curated by actor, writer, director, and producer Rich Correll. Rich is an avid collector of film props, costumes, and more, Icons of Darkness will feature about 65% of his private collection.

Wonderful. There are so many props that rotted away in warehouses. Great that they are taken care of and people can enjoy seeing them. This is amazing art, and art should be appreciated not just tossed aside
I'm a horror prop collector as well. This was an extremely enjoyable tour. Unreal what he has and the set up of everything is just so fascinating. I could literally spend days looking around and still see something new. Top stuff!

I would never want to leave this place! Every prop in there is from the movies I love, so when you said it's like heaven, it quite literally would be for me 😂 I love everything not only in this museum, but what you guys make as well! I became interested in you guys when I was younger around the time you did the monster puppet for Alice Cooper and I've been hooked ever since! As an absolute film fanatic, thank you for all you do to recreate these absolute masterpieces.

Everything’s amazing. That Freddy make up wasn’t from part 5 though. That was a part 2 make up with the part 5 wardrobe.

Super cool collection, however there were some errors with the Predators. The sequel to AVP was Requiem not Redemption, and there’s no Bull Whip Predator, that’s the Wolf Predator.

Good to see someones preserving practical monsters still the movies you see nowadays just dont feel real when everythings cgi. Hollywood needs to go back to its roots of real looking well done handcrafted puppets, prosthetics, masks, and costumes. Sad to see even star wars barely dabbles in practical anymore. Please keep this alive and if another season of making monsters will never happen you better bring it to youtube as a full fledged series. Love your work ❤️
