You were building stone walls in the outpost central north. I think it had to be build for 3 turns or smth. but it looked bugged out, as it didn't show anything and you could've been waiting for a digital eternity. (Edit: You can only take 3 armies into a fight, when selecting a stack to attack, the joining armies banner will highlight. Also, the reinforcement range is I thought 2 hexes on the battlemap, so be carefull the stacks you want in the fight are the ones highlighted)
I noticed that there are a lot of mines with another resource nearby. Wouldnt it be possible for it to be good by simpli making a lot of sef sufficient outposts and work camps with them? Also the terraforming spells from Shadow, Nature, and Materium can all impact the corridors through bedrock and natural bridges over lava or water, so you can convert them into inhabitable provinces, though they do have the downside of only really being able to expand in one direction (which means non-direct tunnels between corridors or longer passages will make it harder to expand into connecting caverns)
It is definitely weaker, though I've actually come around a bit. Sure, you start off weaker, but you also start off isolated and unseen, which I'm coming to realize has been a huge advantage. Also, controlling the underground can allow for some insidious tactics when it comes to teleporter outposts near underground entrance points near enemy capitals :D
Enjoying the series so far! I love this game so much and I cant wait to see more! also "What city doesn't use pigs as its city guard?" 💀💀💀
A little bit of arms dealing killed a lot of people :DD made me laugh out loud :D

21:47 Amazing how a couple of clutch battles can turn stuff around huh?
36:00 Moving your unit, then using an attack, prevents the bonus damage charge gets from moving multiple hexes from triggering.
It also disables the undo option. You can only undo movement or movement type abilities.
It's such a shame the underground start is so weak. It's great fun to play. Hopefully they do something with it soon to make it better
