Being the devil's advocate here, but when it comes to tea, there can also be the long and complicated way with lots of steps and apparatus to use. Not sure why it has to be compared with a coffee making process. If comparing apples to apples, there are also instant drip coffee bags that is a one-step process. Maybe one other idea is how making good tea is often misunderstood as too much of a hassle, but Lipton tea bag simplifies it for you to enjoy an equal aromatic cup of tea.
Hmm, actually what I remember is the pretty ice fruit tea that was made, but it’s not featured prominently in the final ad :c someone here mentioned boba milk tea, that sounds cool to make with Lipton. I like yakult tea and ice cream tea too.
Creative presentation and fun video shot but the whole idea of comparing the process of making coffee vs tea seem abit weird in a way where you probably will never be able to convert people who tend to love coffee to try tea. What could perhaps be a better idea would be recommending the different way people drink their tea. Just like how the lady at the start prepare the normal tea first and after that with different fruits and ice added in, you get a whole new tea instead. This could perhaps entice people to explore drinking tea.
Aiya if u wanna pick on something, there’s a lot of things to pick on ma. Of course I know about instant coffee but coffee snobs will never go for instant coffee ma haha
@@avalefion08 look around u haha, I know many many coffee snobs, I don’t know any tea snobs, I’m sure they exist but even some expensive tea the treatment is still tea bag. Yes I’m aware there’s the traditional way of making tea but like I say, if u r finding a bone to pick, there always be something to pick :)
30 seconds out of a total of 55 seconds of the ad was focus on unrelated coffee? Btw big fan of NOC and now OVERKILL I think you totally missed the point here. Most of the dialogue has nth to do with the tea until the final part. Where are the young people DRINKING the tea? All they did was pulling that tea string from the cup. Where is the “aromatic”other than literally saying the words this Aroma??😅 Still has some youtubeeey vibe to it instead of a real high budget commercial ads. You may have spent most of the budget in those unrelated coffee shots 3/10 score. But hey it’s not me you have to impress 😂
Hello! I like it that you remain polite and objective when giving your feedback so I shall reply you! Anyone can do an ad that is just focusing on tea when is about tea commercial, but i took a page out of the old time ads ua-cam.com/video/auEdEYY3ao4/v-deo.html - Audi advertisement, but focusing on other cars ua-cam.com/video/DijFob8vxgI/v-deo.html - Pepsi commercial, but 80% of the shots are on Coca Cola ua-cam.com/users/shortsFA_EiaqTjRQ - BMW ad, but focuses on mercedes 90% of the shot The concept and basis are based on all these - of course, like what you said, if you're not impressed or even sold, then you are not my target audience but the fact that you watched the video and you realize what is needed for this brief... Then honestly, isn't this entire video an ad that successfully got you to engage? :p We wanted to use humor and more relatability to target younger audience, younger audience are not drawn to production value (look at Gen Z having their Mics visible, or using their phone to shoot) Ultimately, I'm not trying to make an ad that win awards, I'm making an ad that gets people to talk about it / engage and entertain, and at the same time empower and let my crew to gain the confidence that they are able to do an AD too. Everyone starts from somewhere :) Thank you for your feedback tho! Will do better next time :)
Wah the coffee shot damn effort it can pass off as coffee as but the the simplicity of the lipton tea shot also show how simple it is compared to making coffee
Hmmm, honestly, I think you can try to hire a few veteran film crew (DP, diredtor, creative director, gaffer) to manage a few of your future commercial projects. Observe, Learn and Apply what they do in those proper commercial set. Let's set a certain standard yeah~😘
How are you today ☺️ Ryan and I am Zack from Malaysia and I really like the video 📹 and can you pls pray 🙏 for me to have a wonderful birthday 🎂 🥳🎉 on Monday
not too sure about how to feel about this commercial. production is good, but the message wasn't really clear. it doesn't really portrays that the aroma was because of lipton tea, it could be other tea that has aroma versus coffee. overall very unique idea just that i feel the message wasn't clear. still good job though.
That’s the point of this entire video already told u whatever message we need to bring across! It’s impossible to put everything together in a 30 sec ad haha
there’s also 3 in 1 coffee that is as affordable, convenient & quick to make... i don’t get the part of the process of making coffee ad, i feel it could have been something better. altho that part would have been great for a coffee ad
yeah production seemed centered ard coffee making tho, felt would be better to highlight tea as substitute to coffee rather than tea is better than coffee. coffee brands might find it harder to hire them after this

I was expecting a focus on coffee with some text on screen to say “too complicated”, then cut to scene with just a hand dipping tea bag in there. And some text to say easy morning drink etc. I didn’t like adding any humans inside the shot
Technically the truth.. making coffee is like making art.. But i still like tea over coffee.. Especially Lipton Tea with condensed milk and sugar.. Flipping boba tea.. LOL
