Riverdale is an American teen drama television series based on the characters of Archie Comics. The series was adapted for The CW by Archie Comics' chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and is produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions and Archie Comics. Originally conceived as a feature film adaptation for Warner Bros. Pictures, the idea was re-imagined as a television series for Fox. In 2015, development on the project moved to The CW, where the series was ordered for a pilot. Filming takes place in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Filming of the pilot began on March 14, 2016, and ended on March 31 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Production on the remaining 12 episodes of season one began on September 7, 2016, in Vancouver. Sets include Pop Tate's Chock'lit Shoppe, a copy of the functioning diner used in the pilot that is so realistic a truck driver parked his 18-wheeler there, believing that it was open. Season two was also filmed in Vancouver and the nearby Fraser Valley. The aerial view of Riverdale is actually drawn from stock footage used in the series Pretty Little Liars and Gilmore Girls, and the landmark settings are the same used in both of the aforementioned series as well as in Hart of Dixie. Filming for the second season started on June 22, 2017, and concluded on March 27, 2018. Filming for the third season started on July 6, 2018. - Розваги

Love this. I am I Riverdale fan. Didn't read Archie Comics. I came upon Riverdale on Netflix because I was looking for a new series to watch and I've been hooked ever since.
All I know is that I read a lot of Archie comics a long long time ago Scotty. I liked Jughead the best. Didn’t have a clue they had a series on Riverdale on Netflix. Will let Denise know as she is a big Luke Perry fan. I liked him too as he was such a cool guy. Enjoyed this video very much which has caught me up to the present series and of course how you find these locations which are so far from each other is a feat in itself. Thank you Scotty. It brought a lot of lovely memories back of me reading Archie comics in my Grandma’s house (after church on Sundays) whom I loved very much. Take care. Lots of love from all of us ❤️🤗✌🏼💕

I used to read the comics too .. I like alot of the actors just have never watched the show being filmed so close to me but this Vlog has peaked my interest 😉

Great video. I remember when Luke passed away and the challenge of how they will write it in. When you come to Tennessee I take you to Luke Perry house where he is suppose to be buried in a all natural grave.
The diner has been around FOREVER! I remember when I would visit my family in Mission my older cousin would take me there for lunch. Also when I lived in New Westminster I remember seeing people outside the filming location for Betty's house as I didnt live to far away.

When you live and work in Greater Vancouver, you're often stumbling across the sets for big series. I remember coming across a filming location for the X-Files when I worked in Langley, years ago. My aunt's current husband sometimes drives trucks for film companies in Vancouver.
I just started watching Riverdale 3 weeks ago I had no idea that series was that good man it was amazing but after season 2 things just got pretty weird right now I am on season 6 episode 19

Hi Scott, I don't know how to DM you so here it goes. Do you have any idea where they shot Brainscan in Montreal Québec, Canada? I think Michael's house must be in some subdivision? IDK that movie meant a lot to me as a kid and if I could visit that neighborhood maybe it would be great.

If you make it past season 2 of Riverdale God bless you. It's all down hill with writing and acting from there. They lost me at "jingle jangle". Off topic: I liked the live chat you did awhile ago and understand how hard it is to do a video about situations that haven't closure. However, sometimes if a video gets made about a cold case it may trigger tips and memories to bring forth closure. I like the videos you have done and the amount of research you put into them.

@@SCOTTONTAPE The York Region Police Cold Case site is pretty interesting if you look at cases from 1972-'79 (before I was born) with Ingrid Bauer that I mentioned but also women missing or murdered in same age group and region. It stopped suddenly making me think that person or person's involved may have been incarcerated for something else or died. Anyway.. It's an interesting subject matter for some of Toronto's biggest cases that remain unresolved including Nicole Morin and the Dennis Melvyn Howe case too. There's an SOB that has been on the run since 1983 and deserves to be found.
