- The Wyvern is a British Naval Fighter in War Thunder. This Premium plane has gone through a number of changes, nerfs and buffs in the past year.
The Wyvern is one of the only Turbo Prop Planes in War Thunder. It's loud, it's heavy and it's got a LOT of weapons.
The Wyvern can hold 3000Lbs worth of bombs. It also has 4 Hispano's with 1200 rounds of ammunition. But more importantly, for me... it has 16 RP-3 Rockets.
Unfortunately, the Wyvern got a heavy nerf to its control surfaces making it really stubborn to fly. The plane is so heavy that not even the engine power can save it from plummeting from the sky at times. It's slow to respond to your inputs and it's also MASSIVE making it an easy target for SPAA.

Odd do you know of the M47 105mm. I would bloody love for you to make a vid on it, it hasn't been played by a big youtuber and it would make a nice vid. That and playing the Matilda 76mm that has a lot of vids on it but the vids are old

I’ve been playing an absolutely dirty lineup as of late, it is the SMK and the P-63a-5 of Russia 3.7. They are dangerous and have big guns, an absolute win!! I have been making bank and grinding the Russian tree with the p-63
If you ever want to grind the French tree, the yak3 is the answer, a game with 1 kill, 1 assist and a win gets you 5k research points. I did a game with 5 kills and won it Got me 15 k research points and 90k SL

@@dennyhamlinXI Germany has the best Tank Destroyers and you can use it in an urban and long range. So, grind the heavy tank destroyer tree for Germany. Sit at a chokepoint and wait patiently, Tanks will come.
For the US, it has a lot of light tanks and the Sherman have stabilizers. Shermans are my favourite tank because I can yeet shells while on the move. UA-camrs always have a spot they like to sit on which is heavy traffic so try to watch some youtubers and locate their spots.
For Russians, KV1 and angle it. But right now i would refrain from using it as Premium player right now are playing 4.7 KV1 with 75mm.

Cuz odd is a literal good bro he gets like 20 kill games and acts like it's normal and I get 3 kills and I'm happy

Damn this vid came out just before I have to leave for class, at least I can get 10mins of it in! Knowing the quality of your videos I can say that without watching it it was great.
Around this BR i have both the Typhoon & Wyvern in my line up. You've more chance of surviving dogfights with the Typhoon, however i just use the 3 x 1000lb's for the Wyvern for a quick get in and out fast then RTB, repeat. With the Wyvern i build up the speed then cut the engines completely so its a fast and silent glide run when I'm going for Wirbles. Then bang the engines back on after i've dropped. For 5.3 - 6.3 i've been using the Sea Fury for CAS and Plagis' Spitfire just for the dogfights. I'd love to see you use the Sea Fury some time.
I've been studying close how you use those rockets off of British planes, and I gotta say there's been some improvement with my performance lately. I'm pretty new to WT, and I'm glad I stumbled across this channel.

That intro was pretty suhweeeeet. I've never used the wyvern since I haven't had a reason to buy it but the typhoon b and premium version are really fun to use. Probably my favorite fighter for CAS for my Britain 4.7/5.3 lineups.

For an attacker/fighter spawn for a British 4.3 line-up, I can recommend the Brigand B1 very much. 16 rp3s, 4 Hispano mk5s, and 2 500lb bombs. It can also hold its own during a fight as well. Great plane.

I find arty works great as concealment, distraction, and to get light tanks to move from cover and make them think your coming from another direction when in reality your driving right through your own arty like a mad man at them xD

I got the wyvern for the same reason, despite its flight model being nerfed into oblivion it is still my favourite aircraft to use

I LOVE WYVERN!!!!!!!!!!!! :3 in air rb its such an epic support fighter, one time i helped my last teammate fight off 4 emeny planes one by one just by using my epic speed and zooms and i won at the last second for my team by destroying a pillbox 1 second before i crashed into it with my last ammo! :D

You should be using the Mk6 ( I think it's called), instead of the mk8 shell. Because the mk6 will have less pen, but will do much more dmg inside the crew compartment.
If I remember correctly:
-mk6--> 149pen-lot of damage.
-mk8-->190pen-low damage.

Not only Is it easy to shoot down. A single hit of 7.7mm makes it unlandable .

Tank engagements need need to happen at distances longer than 500m. Fights in city streets are not fun. Playong with tanks on a large field taking long shots. That is what tanks were made for. Thats why its fun that way.
Talking about arty: I saw a video about a clever guy using it for "spot" enemies in certain areas he suspected the enemy was there, not just point-click over A, B or C.

Honestly your experiance here with the Hispano's is what i find with them on everything, unless you do a vertical dive, (which almost allways ends in a compress into the ground for me), your not penning anything on the ground that isn't open topped, any real angle and they lose all ability to pen anything much.
I recently got mine since gaijin sales suck, it was worth it tho:))))
