Just picked mine up today! Brand new white SE with just 9 miles on the clock. Got it for $15,213 out the door Tax, Title and License included! Can’t beat it for the money.
I got mine two weeks ago, for 15000 out of the door I am very satisfied with it, I am getting 40 mpg heigh way and 33 city. Max mpg I got is 43 mpg with light foot. If need a car to take you from point a to b without problems this is the car.
Commenting mid-video. The accent never claimed to be some luxury sedan so it fits for those who need it. Good price to match the class it's in. Loving the tail lights. Good one GP
My mom and I brought a 2018 Accent In the SEL Trim for my sister for her Graduation. After driving it a few times. I wanted to trade vehicles with her. I have a 2014 Elantra in the SE Trim. The Accent is a Great Vehicle For The Money. If your looking into buying a Accent, the SEL Trim would be a great choice, if you want a little more features then the SE Trim.
Daniel I have a 2012, first year of the previous generation and I was so worried that it would be an awful car but it met my budget so I bought it. Well it’s been one of my favorite cars out of 15 that I’ve owned: just smooth simple efficient and easy to drive and own and the dealership service department was great. Outside of routine maintenance I have not had any issues. It’s silver with wheel covers, it doesn’t have any special equipment on it. But I enjoy It on the highway as it just purrs down the road with no drama and it’s little engine with 138 horses gets me On the highway without issue. For a purchase I right I’d regret, I’ve recommended one to so many people. Point A to B with reasonable comfort and I paid $11,700 in 2012. Hope that helps. Backseat has no armrest and it’s small but good for kids or smaller adults like my mom haha. Trunk is plenty large too!! I’m shopping for another one. It’s got 171,000 miles now.
I drive a 2004 Accent, still a reliable and very great car. I really do miss the three door versions with spoiler in newer Hyundai Accent generations..
Awesome review, Drew! The 2019 Accent actually comes really well equipped for its price point! I would probably skip the SE and go for the SEL's added value though. I totally want to review one of these myself. Nevertheless, DriveAndBeDriven will be STAYING GOLD!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
dude, i have a 2013 jetta 5 cyl 5 speed manual with about 99k miles on it. it has gave me zero issues. ive replaced a battery, and put front brakes on it. and a set of tires. Why is it I like the idea of a 2021 Accent Limited.....?! nothing is wrong with the car i have right now and here i am interested in a Limited accent. lol. I did drive a new kia rio from Atlanta to Maryland and i got 50 mpg on one tank and 51 mpg on the second!
Good to know about SEL and SEL Limited having front and rear disc brakes. It would be great if you could include how easy basic maintenance would be for the DIY driver - oil change, spark plugs, air filter, brakes, etc.
I am thinking of to buy a new car in a week. I am confused between corolla , civic , city , yaris and accent. I need for looks and fuel. What u recommend?
CodeArtOnline corolla has no style so cross that one out . I like the civics but hate the new tail nights , the yaris is too small . I plan to get the Accent Limited, because it looks beautiful, with nice led lights . And 8 inch touch screen with apple car play , sun roof, forward collision warning and other nice features.
For a subcompact low cost car, the new Accent is essentially flawless. Hyundai has done EVERYTHING right with this one.
Boonkgang
@Cheryl's Natural Again how is the city mpg
GlobalGaming101 like 30 mpg or more
I drove a rental which had 60,000 km on it. The engine acted very well for a used car. You can feel the power and the responsiveness of that engine.
Armrest?
About a month ago I got a used 2019 Accent with 30k miles and it drives so well! Shout out to Hertz. It's definitely a nice and budget friendly car.

15k did you the the auto or manual?
Aw, I got my 2019 for $15,800 out the door. 8 months old now and still very happy with it.
HOW
Excellent review. I like that you had a base model and told us what the upgraded options are.

I have a ‘14 Accent GLS and I love it. 44mpg possible is great since I’m always driving at least 2/3hrs twice a week every week

Antares Andrews how many miles on your accent ?
Accent are solid cars. I still see older models on the road!
I have a 2003 accent still a reliable car no major expenses
I have a 2007 and still very reliable! No major expenses either.
My manual 99 accent feels like a 2020 car and super reliable

Thanks Marcus! 😁
And the SE ain’t bad , the limited might have remote start but u can always get one installed
Put a nice mags, wide wheels, spoilers, wheel fender extension, nice exhaust tips and it's a cool ride already.
That back road is looking good! Bit of advice, if your going to buy an accent, get one that is gently used and save 8k. Thanks drew!
Nathan Manns that’s super good advice

Man you're the best 😍🤩
What would you recommend out of the 2019 Rio, Accent , or Fiesta?
Good to know about SEL and SEL Limited having front and rear disc brakes. It would be great if you could include how easy basic maintenance would be for the DIY driver - oil change, spark plugs, air filter, brakes, etc.
Your Accent variants in the US are cheaper than in the Philippines. Plus the fact yours have more tech.
So how different exactly is it from the 2018?
Spare tire and jack or just air pump/ fix a flat?
Awesome 😃 👍 2019 Hyundai accent review .
Thanks!
Very good car for the money...
No turning light on the side mirror?
How did I end up here? I’m getting all these gold pony recommendations!
Haha lucky you! 😆
Plz do a review on the 2019 hyundai accent limited 🙌🏻 . Plan to get one next year 🙏🏻

CodeArtOnline the accent makes 28/38 mpg which means its great for Saving you gas .
CodeArtOnline ua-cam.com/video/KO01u5WTldE/v-deo.html
CodeArtOnline check out the link i sent . Its the limited version of the accent . I personally think it’s perfect for the price .
How do I get the speed odometer to work ?
I want this soooo bad for my first car.... in white of course..😂😂
dorileigh I got the 2016 Accent as my first car
dorileigh I love mine
My 13 1.6 accent hatch has 138 hp and 123 on ft torque
Cool video.
Thanks!
Does America have the elantra or is this it, in other countries this looks like elantra
Yes we have the Elantra as well... This Accent is essentially a less expensive version 👍
Are you sure this is 2019 Hyundai accent??
Correct 👍
It retails as Hyundai Verna in India rahul saha
Purrrs like a kitten :D
P. S. Mine does too!
I’d drive the manual
The most important thing in staring wasn't meantioned hydrolic or electronic steering I drove a 2017 and steering was horrible
Steering isn't so bad
Who else likes it better than the elantra
The 2019 Accent...is the same as 2018 not really much difference..I have a 2018 and love it.
I just bought the 2018 se today
Is it push to start?....is it bluetooth?
Amourgabbyyy limited edition is
This is the standard
Pushstart sucks those cost too much to repair and are too easy to steal.
The Limited has those features
Very nice

Nice car but what about GPS?
LetitiaKiana has apple car play in SEL or above so you have it
Wow😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
The mpg is pretty crappy for such a small car in 2019. Subcompacts should be getting 45 by now.
Solovino Juntoseva depends on how you drive it. Mine gets 45
I get low 40s on the highway and 30s in the city pretty easily.
eq900 feels
2:46 your lying 😏😏😏
you’re*
Top speed 130
Mazda is the best
Lol
Jason Wang I have a 2016 Mazda 3- it’s my 6th Mazda
