I'm a fan of quality product, not the brand. To be fair to that poor bag, you didn't pull like that with another known brand one.
BTW, it wouldn't be fair to compare this bag to other 5-6 times its price :)
Like you said, we get what we pay for. This bag is fine for a normal daily use.

Hi Odie, thank you so much for the review, this is exactly what I needed before purchasing this backpack. Is there any backpack that you would recommend to use as a personal item/underseat bag?
I already have a backpack like that but much better. I was wonsidering this one because it did expand to 40L, but after this video, I'm gonna stick with my one.
I had a cheapie amazon bag for a while, and I put a bit of a pool noodle at the bottom of my laptop spot which helped. That being said, I packed it out and the zipper would split which obviously isn't great. Since upgraded :)
This is the 4th cheap Amazon bag I’ve tested and I think now it just makes me mad 😂
Amazon often have this at $30 or cheaper w/ promotional coupon for budget folks. Whoever paid over $40, I am just speechless. Obviously some people don't spend the time to research, compare before buying.
What's the best budget, bang for buck travel backpack that you recommend? It doesn't need to be the cheapest but rather decent quality for the price

Yeah that bag seems both soft and chonky at the same time. There is a lot of amazon stuff thats cheap and looks like the more serious stuff superficially but isn't ever quite "right" and has suspect build quality.
Like how your dog is just a sleepy boy.
Max loves a good nap in frame lol but these Amazon bags are all terrible.
