Thank you so much for this review. I finally decided myself to buy a premium speaker because music is so important for me. Currently I use a Kef Muo, a very nice little BT speaker but it remains a little one. The problem is I don't want to spend my money on design or for a "name" (Devialet was an option but it appears it's more a piece of art than a high-level speaker); I want quality and amazing sound. I think the Beosound Level is my answer, plus he is upgradable and the battery can be changed.
Fantastic i had the beo play a1 which at lower volumes is perfect at my listening levels craps out. Yet i had them for over 7 years maybe its time to try this
For travel is too big, I prefer A2 Active or A1 or Dali Katch. However if you’re are looking for remote speaker at home this is your option, otherwise I will choice M5 (near wall settings for the best balanced sound) - it’s cheaper, plays better than Beosound 1 and only slightly worse vs Level (mids and highs). More expensive and better opinion is Beosound 2.
Great review, thank you
this is on my wishlist
id be interested in seeing you join them for stereo. i think thats possible through the app...
Better than the devialet opera ?
Oh for sure. Devialet is bass-centric and lacks clarity. Naim would be a better competitor. B&O blows Devialet out of the water although Devialet does a good job with product design. I was considering Devialet initially.
