I want to share that tonight my 1.5 year old was choking on a big piece of mango. Thanks to what I watched in this video years ago I was able to help my baby. It was such a terrifying experience. You can save someone's life if you know how to give proper CPR. These online cpr first aid certification Phoenix are really helpful. Everyone should be aware of how to give CPR.
Thank you for letting me watch this video it's really helpful for my CPR class that I'm taking in college especially if i want to earn my professional CPR card
I used to be CPR certified, but my certification expired a while back. Watching this video helped refresh my memory. Now that I have a little one I will definitely get certified again. Thank you! This was very helpful. I will be looking at your website for certification.
This brought back serious memories. My son was a few months under a year old had found a small ball, slightly bigger than a marble while we were at a friend's house. Of course it went right in his mouth and became lodged. He started turning blue and we just couldn't get it out. Her step dad said f this and grabbed him around his stomach to race him to the car and it fell out his mouth. To this day I believe the way he grabbed him is what saved my son. He's a month shy of turning 17 years old and I've spent years studying this kind of stuff so that I never have to feel that helpless again. All I could do was stand there while her step dad worked at getting it out of his throat. I was 18 but I should've been prepared the moment I found out I was expecting.
Hello Latoya, thank you for sharing your experience. We are happy knowing that your son was saved from that incident. Please continue to help save lives!

Great Lesson. Very consciece and to the point. While everything is important. Some are working with Ok Outlines and achieving good results and perhaps cover more territory depending on the end goal.
This is nearly identical to the training by the American Red Cross for CPR/AED certification. Nearly, because it does not teach basic First Aid, and it is a bit rushed. However, if you really commit to studying this video, consider yourself qualified to administer CPR, and to use an AED. Please share and help others learn. It may save a life. Edit: Not all emergencies require the use of CPR or AED. Use other sources to improve your First Aid and Emergency Response knowledge.
@@DisqueFoundation Thank you for providing this excellent video! The story in the beginning was very moving, and inspiring. I appreciate this great help!

This course am doing now is actually corresponded to my profession in the field of nursing and really appreciate the college though yet not complete the course.
This course is very helpful and thank you so much for offering this course at no cost for the general public. My only feedback is that I wished the final exam had more thought provoking questions just like the self assessment questions in the manual. The questions in the manual made me think more, and if one question stumped me I'd go back and read the chapter again until I understood the information. :) but again thank you so much for making this course accessible. Stay safe and healthy.
At moment 5:22, after activating the ERS, you should check first the pulse, and if it is absent or you are not sure of it, then you start high quality chest compression
Amazing that I found this, and the free certification offer on the last day before the offer expires. I have been meaning to take CPR training for many years now, but just never got around to it. I am looking forward to completing the coarse.
This video is great, but it forgets to mention to check for medical id (jewelry, tattoos, wallet cards, etc) before using an AED. A person with a pacemaker could be harmed even more by an AED and it is better to just continue with regular CPR compressions until paramedics arrive. But luckily, most (911) emergency dispatchers are trained well enough to walk you through all of this over the phone.😊
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback on the video. Collaborative efforts like yours contribute significantly to enhancing the overall understanding of emergency response procedures. We acknowledge the significance of including this information in our educational materials and will ensure that future content addresses the importance of checking for medical IDs before AED use.
