- There are a LOT of manga references that haven't been animated yet in this animatic. I personally think it should still be okay for anime only watchers since a lot of my scenes can still be looked at without any context and you won't really be 'spoiled' on anything since you won't understand.

I could not help but feel sad for eren. Especially when I saw his smile faded away, and started to look sad and angry. The whole world viewed him as a villain, but he used to be a boy who lived in Shiganshina, whose biggest dream was seeing the ocean with his friends.
Your art is indeed a masterpiece.
Thank you! Eren's dreams conflicting with reality is heartbreaking. His character development is probably the best I've seen in any medium, and the fact that Isayama was able to make his audience understand and empathise with this 'monster' is beyond amazing storytelling.

Gosh, in the end the way the clouds went from a beautiful sky to being filled with black smoke was honestly amazing. The screaming was haunting, this was so amazing and you deserve so much more for this masterpiece. This really reminds you that Eren was just a young kid, he had the sweetest dream, and just how messed up things became.
Poor Eren, he just want to be like a bird and fly beyond the walls and be free. Of course, he flew so much farther than beyond the walls, he flew straight into heaven. To the boy who sought freedom, you are free.

Ahh I'm glad you liked it! I really liked the juxtaposition of young Eren basking in his 'freedom' and the horrible things he was willing to do to achieve it ;_;

I love how almost every frame in the animatic could be a still picture and still be interesting. It just shows how your not only considering the movement of the characters but the composition of each and every frame. I can see the time that went into every frame, and as a fellow artist, I'm am impressed. The angles are so well done and add a lot of diversity to the frames to make them stand out from the others. I just found this today, but I already lover your work! I hope all of this made sense, since I'm not always the best at putting thing into words.

This is like my 30th time returning to this masterpiece, and I’ve just now noticed the sunlight bouncing up from the stone tower they’re on and reflecting on Eren and Carla’s faces. That’s such a gorgeous attention to detail, really makes the whole piece feel warm.

This video is one of/my favorite AOT related fanarts ever. I actually considered showing this as a sort of trailer to get people to watch it with me, since it captures the painful, melancholic beauty and dread of AOT so perfectly.
And as a fellow artist, I get it. It’s possible to be proud of something AND want to improve it.
If you released a new version, I’m sure I’d watch that a ton.

Oh my god?? First of all, your style is absolutely breathtaking! And the amount of work you put into the whole beginning scene of drawing out the town and that above perspective of Eren, his mom, and Mikasa was so great. But the eyes!! The way you lit up their eyes and breathed hope into them was stunning. Which made it all the more impactful when Eren both gained that spark from Armin just to lose it when they finally broke loose of the walls to find even more adversaries. This was just so beautiful.
