  • Thank you for joining us for another episode.
    On a previous episode, we started painting the shiny tiles of the ensuite bathroom. We chose a mat tile paint for this as we wanted to give the bathroom a fresher look.
    After waiting a while for the white paint to dry, we decided to continue painting with stencils to soften the look of the bathroom.
    The bathroom is pretty much finished except for a few things.
    On this episode, we also start and finish cleaning the terrazo tiles of both balconies and you will be able to see the amazing results.

    I thought the balcony was concrete! Who would have guessed those beautiful tiles were under all that mold and dirt. Even your cat couldn’t stop looking at it. 😂 Your house is really becoming a home with the care you both are giving it. It would be hard to work with those views of the valley and mountains distracting you. 🎉

      Hi VLPs.
      Thank you for your comment.
      I often find myself staring at the valley and forcing myself to snap out of it to keep going with my day ☺️

    Ciao! I used normal bleach and boiling water on all my tile surfaces ...An italian Master Tiler taught me this trick and the simplest things are often the best! Cost less too! Our front porch was green and mossy and with just one wash and a little scrub ...they were great! You did an awesome job and what a difference! The cement tiles are very pretty! I love the pattern on them. Painting bathroom tiles is a long process with a lot of drying time needed in between, so if it's peeling already, I'd say that's your issue or perhaps the preparation? I'm sure you'll sort it out! Well done 🤩🤗

      @rossinniandco  Рік тому

      Thanks Marisa.
      Yes, water and bleach worked way better!
      I think with the bathroom, I didn't let it dry enough in between coats and then at the end started using it too quickly. I could wait to paint in between coats and because this paint is one of those that once you mixed you have to apply within 24hrs that didn't help.
      Thanks you so much for your comment and watching 😉

    I guess a pressure washer and some good chemicals would not be the Italian way.

    A pressure wash would probably solve it in 40 minutes. Good job anyways!
