Thanks for doing this series called "Slander Education," Laurie. Nice set of insights regarding the peace claim in Mindanao. For people who want to delve more into the issue. I am gonna recommend the JICA document for the historical background of the dispute in the Mindanao issue. They got some thorough information about it.
The key takeaway from the vid.
1. Appeal to Authority- a fallacy wherein a claim being made by an authority figure is true. People tend to believe those claims made by these authority figures without checking out the evidence to support the claim.
An appeal to authority fallacy is found within an argument that tries to justify a conclusion by appealing to authority instead of actual evidence 😎👍

Did they remove the names in the “correct” argument slide? I think they should’ve left it for fact-checking purposes.
Also just a side note, it’s funny how they name it as “correct argument” but they have no idea who the two sides in conflict really are. Labeled it “correct” but still did it wrong.
