So basically in Armors it's better to equip a Glove A with 1 slot and 10 available augments but 0 protection than a Glove B with 500 protection physical chemical and fire but no augment. Because Glove A can pump you reload speed which makes it so better to kill zombies than being hit first. Basically offense is a best defense applied to this game, kill the zombie faster than being hit. I dunno if I made a mistake, I have 18 points in Crit Chance in skills rather than movement speed. I didn't realized movement speed can grind you faster.

Speed is everything....... I'd say speed is important, but armor resistant must NOT be neglected, because there will be situations where you Have to be in a small space, then, speed might just make you step on acid puddles
In the end there is a build that says black medusa helm, rubicon power assist, titan gloves and boots and overwatch pants. Its like 19 body armor expert and maxed in cores but ultimately, speed and max reload build the armor IS ABLE to provide you with all 3 99% resistances i believe. Anyway if you are interested you have a site called sas 4 armor calculator so do with that as you please.

For all classes. Even with the 20% extra reload speed from rewards, it's slow. It's better with 6-8 points on reload speed.

I suggest getting festungsbrecher, you can honestly switch it out for both and only use fest.
