When I was 18, I wrote a fanfic and only listened to this song. I swear I listened to it for like 8 hours straight when I wrote it and more when I was editing. I don't really remember why, of all songs, I chose this song. It just came out and I wanted to stream it. Something about the chill beat and Hara's calming voice really helped me in my grind. To this day, that fanfiction has received the most subscribers and comments than any of my other fanfiction, including my most recent works. Albeit, it's not a lot, but for a small writer in 2015, the response was huge. It's also my longest work. It was the most challenging thing I've written, yet also the most rewarding. Writing isn't something I'm super passionate about or my forte, but seeing the response for that fic really gave me a lot of confidence and motivation to write more. That fic and my "career" would not have been born if it weren't for this song. Thank you, Gu Hara for singing this song. Thank you, Hara, for the serotonin that rushed through my body when I listened to it and your voice. Thank you, Hara, for giving me the opportunity and motivation to write that piece. Korea still thinks of mental health as a flaw or weakness. Korea as a people are terribly judgemental, critical and very very appearance driven also and it's basically all they've known for years, YOU basically have to be perfect, especially as a celebrity. It's very sad tbh....
BUT things surely need to change, Korea is like 4th highest Suicide rate in the world ALL mainly because of what the people think about each other. Not being "good enough", look "good enough", being "rich". THIS all DOESN'T matter... Ambition is fine but if you fail at one thing, perhaps it isn't the right thing for you. SO TRY AGAIN. Giving up does nothing for anyone, EVERYONE especially family loses....
KOREA, Acknowledge mental health more as not a weakness or flaw, Every country on earth has depressed people, Your people like other countries people are dying from Suicide HELP THEM.

When I was 18, I wrote a fanfic and only listened to this song. I swear I listened to it for like 8 hours straight when I wrote it and more when I was editing. I don't really remember why, of all songs, I chose this song. It just came out and I wanted to stream it. Something about the chill beat and Hara's calming voice really helped me in my grind.
To this day, that fanfiction has received the most subscribers and comments than any of my other fanfiction, including my most recent works. Albeit, it's not a lot, but for a small writer in 2015, the response was huge. It's also my longest work. It was the most challenging thing I've written, yet also the most rewarding.
Writing isn't something I'm super passionate about or my forte, but seeing the response for that fic really gave me a lot of confidence and motivation to write more. That fic and my "career" would not have been born if it weren't for this song. Thank you, Gu Hara for singing this song. Thank you, Hara, for the serotonin that rushed through my body when I listened to it and your voice. Thank you, Hara, for giving me the opportunity and motivation to write that piece. I attribute the success of that fic to you. Every time I get a new kudos for that fic, I think of you. I know it's a little too late to say this to you now, but it doesn't feel right leaving this unsaid. I will always continue to celebrate the music you gave us, especially this song. I hope you are doing well now.

I love that Goo Hara looks Westernized, she doesn't look ONLY KOREAN, but also mixed American and Hispanic and European.. so lucky! I love how she didn't portray way too sexiness in the video.
