This makes a lot of the "pulling heartstrings" stuff strange and off putting.

Uh... 1. There's no technology to extract a person's memories. 2. I highly doubt someone who can be executed for their organs has access to Reddit or UA-cam. (Out-of-country access to American websites can be awful, especially if they aren't exactly allies, unless you have a VPN.)

The ending of this story was so unsatisfying. Also they took her to court for her eyes not her heart like the begginning stated. Needing 95% of the vote is insane as well. The parents got life in jail, they didn't have to pay for emotional distress. They where just constantly beating up of her in public and at her work and no one called the police.
