Hey you, thanks for pointing me in this direction. I got lots of Modge Podge. I can line my drawers just like all you big girls. I am so excited. Thank you so much.
I have stumbled over your website a few times now, and I just want to tell you that I really appreciate your ideas and the fun you seem to be having. You are inspirational... :)
I'm so glad I found your website! Wish I had much earlier. You have great tutorials that inspire me. I've stuggled with lining drawers with paper all my life! Now I know what to do. Thank you.
Hi there! I'm a new subscriber and am so glad to have found you. Your directions are easy to follow and that makes all the difference. I love this darling little table, so crisp and pretty. Thanks for sharing your expertise!
I love your website I love following you you’ve got some great ideas I was just watching the one on midge podge fabric in the drawers and I noticed you did not put a coat on top. If we want to protect the fabric a bit more would it be OK to do that
Thank you, Shelagh! You certainly can if you want to. Another option would be to use a darker or more patterned fabric that might not show wear as much. :)
Thank you for showing a how to with fabric. Do you think you can go up the sides (the left and right side) of the drawer without to many complications? My drawers are old and ugly.
You’re welcome! I have done it on this desk: www.confessionsofaserialdiyer.com/thrift-store-desk-makeover/ You do need to be sure the drawers have enough clearance that the fabric doesn’t rub on the sides. You can also paint the drawers if they are in really bad shape!
For those concerned, spraying Scotch Guard on top of fabric would keep it clean and protect it longer. Use a damp cloth to wipe whenever needed. (Works wonders on cloth furniture.)
Thank you for sharing this. I read once that you need to wash the fabric first. Did you wash your fabric or do you think that is necessary? My fabric is dry clean only... lol
This turned out really cute (as usual). I want to do this to a dresser project. Do you think it'll make her clothes smell weird? Have you tried it and if so what did you think?
Hi Cheryl! I did use lighter fabric on this one, but I usually choose a darker, more forgiving fabric. A drawer in an end table like this shouldn’t get too dirty through. You can always spot clean and if you even need to replace the fabric, it pulls out pretty easily.
Good morning! It can be removed, but it will take a little muscle to remove it. The Mod Pod adheres it very well, but the nice thing about using fabric vs paper is that it can be removed if you want.
@@emanuelahere You will feel a bit of a texture where the glue was after you remove the fabric, but that shouldn’t be a problem if you just replace the fabric.
Ty 4sharing you answered all the questions I had im going to try that with a darker fabric
My pleasure, Andrea! I’m glad the video was helpful! :)

Ha ha you are so welcome, my friend! :)
Great idea. You can use a wallpaper smoother to make all the bubbles go away very fast. :)
Yes! 😊
Looks great Christy!
Thanks, Donna!

Wow😃
Hello
I'm looking at lining my cabinet with felt, Will this work ? And what fabric you suggest for cabinets (cabinets for clothing)
Do you add mod podge to the top of the fabric or is that just when using paper?
Tammy Johnson Hi Tammy! I do not Mod Podge over fabric.
Can you do this in dresser drawers or do you think the midgepodge would be bad for it?
Absolutely! I do it all the time! 💕
New sub here!! Nice video
Thank you!

You're welcome! I did not wash my fabric first, and I don't think it is necessary at all. :)
This turned out really cute (as usual). I want to do this to a dresser project. Do you think it'll make her clothes smell weird? Have you tried it and if so what did you think?
Thank you, Michelle! No, there should be no scent whatsoever. 😊
What is the measuring square that you cut the fabric on called , and the cutter
Hi Anel! I use a rotary cutter, cutting mat, and straight edge and they come in a set here: amzn.to/31jn96l
Nice
Thank you!
How do they clean it when you mod podge it?

Why didn't you mod podge the top?
Hi Kala! There is really no need to with Fabric. If it were paper, I might add more Mod Podge on top.
What glue are you using?
I used matte Mod Podge...it is very similar to a white glue.
Christy James thank you!
@@phillyhome6731 Sure thing!
? Can this be easily removed?
Good morning! It can be removed, but it will take a little muscle to remove it. The Mod Pod adheres it very well, but the nice thing about using fabric vs paper is that it can be removed if you want.
@@emanuelahere You will feel a bit of a texture where the glue was after you remove the fabric, but that shouldn’t be a problem if you just replace the fabric.
If you use a piece of cardboard or foamcore cut to size, and affix the fabric to it, then it's easy to remove and no damage to the furniture.
Why Mod Podge? Really more expensive than glue...
Hi! I use mod podge because I like to be able to buy it in a giant container, but you could absolutely use glue as well! 💕
