Hockenson is a more complete player, especially when it comes to blocking, but Fant is more of a weapon in the red zone. Hockinson is still a better receiver, way more refined in his routes and way better hands, fant is just fast which is why he gets the receiving tight end stereotype
The guy had the most TDs among TEs over the last 2 years. Which is probably why he’s being called the best receiving TE coming out of college. And he could get better but yea Hock is definitely the more complete player
People make it seem like hockenson can do everything fant can do. + block. Not the case he’s not doing what fant and can and vice versa both different tight ends fant will score more in his career potentially and hockenson will block better

Fant is really good, but he’s going to be used primarily as a pass catcher and will be more one dimensional while Hockenson will be able to do everything that is asked of a Tight End

I dont know if i agree with Fant being a better redzone threat, Hock is much more physical. Fant is a deep threat you dont usually see at tight end.
