  • In this video, I used several new and old Lawn Fawn stamp sets to make my first Ta-Da! Diorama card. I had big ideas - and they didn't go as planned! Instead of starting over, I improvised! I think the end result is still a send-worthy card! Let me know if you agree!
Please send me a handmade card, I will send a card I've made to you in return!

What a great idea! I love seeing cards that stretch the interactive elements!

Thanks so much! I got a little in over my head but I have so many ideas for the next one! It’s good to test the limits of what certain dies can do… and I learned a lot that day

Well done! I like that you showed the trial and error. It turned out adorable

We can’t only show what goes right… something goes wrong for everyone every now and then… but I had fun overcoming all these hiccups.

Adorable card! Love that you left the whole thought process in as well! TFS 😊

Thanks so much! I think people don’t see the struggles enough, and so many things went by the wayside with this card, and so many times I thought I’ll just start over, but no… I kept on it. It was actually really fun.

@@makermoose 💯 I agree. I try to keep the process in as much as possible as well.

Do you mean I didn’t assemble the Ta-Da Diorama on screen? Lawn Fawns intro videos are the best resource for seeing how any of their interactive cards are assembled.

@@makermooseI know that, but what is the use of a super sped up video that in the end doesn’t show anything since most is off screen. It’s a beautiful card and a great idea but frustrating to watch

@@LothlorienB Sorry you feel that way.... My point of this video was more about the little snow globe set, a creative idea I had, and to show the struggles of that creative idea and how I overcame them... this video was not meant to be any sort of instruction on the Ta-Da Diorama. Usually I would scrap this video and never show it to the world, but a subscriber had recently said how they feel discouraged by how often they struggle with their cardmaking process. When I take an hour long video (this one was much longer, I think I ended up recording 3 hours of footage, trial and error) but the feedback I've received before is that people don't want to watch more than 8 minutes (the average view duration is actually quite a bit less) I need to decide what to eliminate. Many times I make an interactive card, I leave out parts that are better described elsewhere. I really thank you for your feedback though, and I will do my best to show more of the process, or maybe have 2 part videos, where I can go in-depth on colouring, assembling in an add-on video. A lot of the fun of cardmaking to me is the tedious parts. I love paper piecing dies like Spellbinders... but not many enjoy watching someone glue so many parts together, but you don't get the beautiful result without the tedium.
