The great Engelbert that I new at a time where life was good, had a young child, and thought it would go on forever. I went to bed one evening at the great age of 28, and when I awoke, I found I was 68. What happen to the last fourty years?

Yes it was 30 yrs ago. 1991. Plus the interview after with Rick Dee's. It was a hoot. Don t see him anymore but saw him about 15 different times. Life truly is about. Real Romance. Few understand it. Engelbert the greatest of all time.

I liked many singers over the years, and liked their songs, but never really paid attention to the orchestration or even the background singers. The arrangements are fantastic, and I wouldn't change anything about him.

Every time I think I found my favorite song I find another and another. I've seen most all to the best over the years but this guy is the best by far. I think "What I did for Love" showcases his vocal range and talent more than any of the others but that's just my opinion. Great site and thank for the availability. ....Art B.
