The thing that I really need Pastor Greg to address is that people in the Body believe that believers can be demonized or need deliverance. Those terms are not properly defined and it makes me feel like I am a half Christian, partial filled with Satan, partially with Christ. Even though I acceped Christ when I was four . Because people are constantly saying "loosen her" or asking me if I have been filled with the spirit, as if my salvation was not enough.
@@RenewalCreations I forget what scripture and verse, but there is scripture that says GOD is a strong man, and since he created even Lucifer I don't see how he could be strong enough to inhabit s body that GOD already lives in.

Jesus said I am the door any who enter the sheepfold some other way is a thief and a robber. There are scriptures all through out the Bible saying the enemy is in the temple of God. Referring in some passages to the physical temple but symbolic of us the temple.
Believers are not "sinless" and therefore demons can attach to a Believer -- Believers need healing and to repent and to be delivered its in the Lords Prayer. Demons are not just for non-believers this is totally wrong. If a Believer has unmarried sex do you really think there is no consequence or that the Law is not broken? They do not lose Salvation or their Holy Spirit but they can need deliverance even if saved. I completely disagree. Show me scripture that says a Believer cannot be--- this is an intellectual jump you are making.
@@RenewalCreations I thought I was saved at 8 but it wasnt until about 51 years old that I gave my life all in to Jesus. I gave total lordship of my life and then I was born again. After I was saved I got filled with the baptism of the holy spirit and after that I had a sanctification process that involved being delivered from multiple demons. There's a process but 4 is too young. You need to be an adult and give total lordship and repent of your sins. You haven't even sinned yet at 4. There's a process and it's hard but it has eternal and wonderful results.
You also have to reject sin, they only enter when you open a door. Pride comes in and you have to humble yourself to get it to go. Plus cast it out with the power of the blood.
Before I gave my life to Jesus I used to experience spiritual attacks, demons would oppress me while I slept, but after I surrendered to Christ I once had a sleep paralysis attack and it was nothing at all, I felt no fear, there were no shadow figures or demons oppressing me, it was just a normal sleep paralysis that I shook off easily. Praise be to Jesus!
When it happened to me i couldn't move or talk until i said in my head Jesus help me! I was immediately freed! It rubbed its hand over my body and poked me with its claw as well has this happened to anyone else?@erikbest5371
He’s right you know! I live in Gilroy and we grow tons of garlic here in this town but that didn’t stop a demon from attacking me in a poltergeist way. It was literally attacking me and I was paralyzed with fear! I started praying in the name of Jesus Christ and then I felt this powerful presence sweep it away from me!!
Christ Jesus, I pray to you that you protect my loved ones, my home and my house from demonic attack. And when they do come, please empower me with your help to stand up to them. Thank you for listening to my prayers.
I prayed through the phone for two hours for, then eventually with, a believer with oppression. He experienced deliverance through the Holy Spirit. My ex is not a believer, and is most likely possessed. The enemy will only flee when confronted by God. Please pray that the unsaved feel driven to reach out to Him and believers, that the church is more united and strengthened for this Holy war, and that the focus of wrath is evil principalities, not tortured people. Let's remind the oppressed--and the Oppressor--who God is. Also pray for me to walk strong, boldly in obedience, that my identity as a General of Christ is recognized by my heart, not just my mind, and that I am used mighty for the Kingdom, which includes my music. I know Christian's can be oppressed but unfortunately all the people I thought were saved are demonized and not born again. My ex was baptized and said the prayer but she is demonized and when I discussed repentence and recommitting her life to the Lord she freaked and said she did it already!!! I pray for her every day to have her hard heart broken and give her life to Jesus. I have cast out anger from her, stunned her mid rage. Problem is it came back and she became even worse. She needs to be saved and then the demkns can be dealt with.
@@Ian-ve9xc If she is possessed, she will likely need to submit her life to Christ in a committed group of prayer warriors, so they can cast out the presence right afterward. God can do it multiple ways, obviously, but this is all I can think of to be most effective in the least amount of time. Consult with the Bible and a pastor you trust. Prayers and blessings to you. I will pray for her as well.
@@megalopolis2015 I appreciate all the prayers, been praying for her heart to be broken as it's so hard now. She needs to repent and be born again. Then the rest is a process. Demons go pretty easily if you remove the sin and cast them out. She has lots of unforgivness, she would need to forgive first. She is about to go through a storm, and my hope is it will brake her and get her to repent and surrender. For now i just pray for her every day.

We decided to move and she died a few years later. I always think of how i could have helped save her if maybe i tried harder but it was difficult she was always on drugs and very vindictive, it makes me sad thinking about her sometimes.

The word possessed is a bad translation. Possessed means to be owned. The demoniac fell at Jesus feet and worshipped him. If the devil owned him or possessed he would not allowed him to worship Jesus. The word demonized is better. And yes Christian's can be demonized. Ask any deliverance minister. All others are using theory, and I personally will take experience over theory any day of the week

I think my step dad is possessed I took a picture of him and my camera quality is good and the picture blurred itself and I seen a whole other person when I seen his face it scared me and before y’all say I’m like 10 I’m 16 and my mom even sees it that’s not him and it’s so scary if this is actually what happens it’s scary
Anyone who doesn't abide in Christ can be demon possessed. But true christian's that abide in God cannot be demon possessed. Just because I go to church doesn't make me a christian anymore than standing in a garage makes me a car. There is no communion between light and darkness or good and evil. If we get close to God, He is love and there is no sin in Him so it becomes easy to do the right thing and harder to displease Him. But the more we distance ourself from Him the easier it becomes to sin, hurt and murder over and over again. Matthew 7:16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. 1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

I know a person who was saved 28 years ago received the prayer language 20 years ago was delivered from a blaspheming spirit the moment he was born again was also delivered from alcoholism at the same time. But struggled with anger for twenty six years... one day a fellow believer confronted him with the fact that the anger he experienced was caused by an evil spirit. He repented and renounced the spirit of anger and she cast it out of him! For several days it was as if he was seeing with someone else' eyes, things that would have normally made him feel agitated no longer did...I know this mans testimony very well it was me and Greg Laurie has no idea what he is talking about. It really bothers me that I didn't have anyone help me over the years but am truly thankful for being free now.
@@berns4146 praise God!!! Yeah I agree with you most preachers are under educated on this topic. I have learned so much in the last couple years and still have much more to learn. But it blows me away on how much demons are responsible for that we as Christian's could resolve fairly easy if we just take the authority that Christ has given us and minister deliverance as Jesus did. There are a great many prominent teachers deceiving the flock. I shudder to think how many people got a wrong view of Christ because of behavior that I displayed because of influences from an evil spirit.

@@travishowett1189 Sorry for taking so long to reply...I am free, so many struggles with behavior was caused by evil spirits. In all I had a spirit of anger, jealously, heart disease all of them cast out by my daughter. The spirit of heart disease was weird my daughter was praying for me and Holy Spirit spoke to her heart disease. And she began to command this spirit to come out of me. After a time I heard a voice say no I'm not coming out I killed your mother and your grandfather. Both of them died of heart disease. I told her what I'd heard she then proceeded to cast them out. It's really a shame the body of Christ has been so deceived in this matter. Can only imagine what my life would have been like if I hadn't been dealing with this. I am pretty sure if there is something you aren't able to conquer through repentance it's probably an evil spirit.
Imagine if Jesus wasn’t coming and all this was made up.. people would freak out we’re all so scared I’m glad this brings comfort and hope to some people I actually grew up at harvest church my whole life I was told that this is the truth but don’t you see what we’re doing? We all point the finger telling other people their beliefs are wrong and ours is right. What if there is a higher power but not the one made up in this bible which in fact people wrote.. keep a open mind is what I’m saying I don’t blame people to want to believe in this what comfort is it knowing we have someone up there looking out for us and we’ll all be reunited with our loved ones in heaven I hope all this wasn’t made up so we don’t feel less alone we all won’t know till we die and that’s fact

If you are a Christian, and still think , plan , and enjoy sin you are under evil angels influence , and nobody can save you , if you are under God’s influence you will never sin. God’s promise will be applied to all who stop sinning , nobody will be saved in sin but out of sin

Demon literally comes from latin and greek....it means numerical genius or divine spirit.....DAIMON...DEMON...numerical genius , divine spirit, friend.......the church did not want you to be smart......
The INTENT of demons is deception. Yes demons hold ancient knowledge.... but with that knowledge comes an appetite. And with that appetite there comes a sacrifice. Demons don’t make you smart. It’s your ignorance and curiosity that drives you to want what these use to be human beings but died in the flood of Noah HAVE! These demons desire FLESH. And SIN is the greatest thing they can use against us to gain energy and control. Demons are not to be entertained or messed with. Desire knowledge if you want from demons... it comes with a HEAVY price!

This is true. I used to suffer from “sleep paralysis” but deep inside I knew it was demonic. The attacks stopped once I gave my life to Christ.

I still struggle in areas and am seeking to be completely free. I know this I love Jesus so much and he's been so good to me and want nothing more than to bring him glory and not disgrace his name. Sorry for taking so long to reply...I am free, so many struggles with behavior was caused by evil spirits.
In all I had a spirit of anger, jealously, heart disease all of them cast out by my daughter.
The spirit of heart disease was weird my daughter was praying for me and Holy Spirit spoke to her heart disease.
And she began to command this spirit to come out of me.
After a time I heard a voice say no I'm not coming out I killed your mother and your grandfather.
Both of them died of heart disease.
I told her what I'd heard she then proceeded to cast them out.
It's really a shame the body of Christ has been so deceived in this matter.
Can only imagine what my life would have been like if I hadn't been dealing with this.
I am pretty sure if there is something you aren't able to conquer through repentance it's probably an evil spirit.
Why ask such a question when scripture has provided us that answer by providing examples?
It's for other people. Non-believers don't read the Bible but may hear this and be more open to Christ.

Imagine if Jesus wasn’t coming and all this was made up.. people would freak out we’re all so scared I’m glad this brings comfort and hope to some people I actually grew up at harvest church my whole life I was told that this is the truth but don’t you see what we’re doing? We all point the finger telling other people their beliefs are wrong and ours is right. What if there is a higher power but not the one made up in this bible which in fact people wrote.. keep a open mind is what I’m saying I don’t blame people to want to believe in this what comfort is it knowing we have someone up there looking out for us and we’ll all be reunited with our loved ones in heaven I hope all this wasn’t made up so we don’t feel less alone we all won’t know till we die and that’s fact

The INTENT of demons is deception. Yes demons hold ancient knowledge.... but with that knowledge comes an appetite. And with that appetite there comes a sacrifice. Demons don’t make you smart. It’s your ignorance and curiosity that drives you to want what these use to be human beings but died in the flood of Noah HAVE! These demons desire FLESH. And SIN is the greatest thing they can use against us to gain energy and control. Demons are not to be entertained or messed with. Desire knowledge if you want from demons... it comes with a HEAVY price!
