Gel mixed with acetone isn't good because the gel doesn't get fully cured because of the acetone. Also breathing that stuff in is really bad for your lungs so glad when you put the mask on. If you want to continue with the airbrush technique try airbrush paint or maybe acrylic airbrush paint. I'm not expert, but I'm hoping one of the suggestions are safer for you in future. I wish that I could wear big charms but I use the keyboard on my job so I end up breaking my nails or the charms and nail length getting caught in the keys, so I will just enjoy hanging out and watch you work! I would mix a little bit of baby blue to that white you used for airbrush to make it a bit more obvious though, just to elevate the look a little bit.

Oh wow I didn’t know Saviland made an airbrush. Very nice!! Anne I have a couple questions for you!! I’m hoping you can clear this up for me. So recently I noticed when I was watching a short on UA-cam that the person that was applying a full cover nail tip in the video left a gap between the false nail and the cuticle when they adhered it to the natural nail. Somehow I had never noticed anyone do this before so I asked in a comment on that video. Someone replied and said that you fill the gap with hard gel and the reason it’s done is so that a ledge doesn’t form when your nail starts to grow. I’m a little confused at this. I noticed earlier watching a video you did several months ago (Keroppi and encapsulated fruit nail set) that you also did this (left a gap and then filled it in with gel). And I am sure you have in other videos too that I obviously haven’t noticed lol. Anyway, is this always usually done and does it have to be done? Cuz I know there are full cover tips that come colored so I’m not sure how that would work with those. Sorry for the barrage of questions but I figured you would probably know. Thanks again for all your amazing videos!! I just love watching all the intricate nail art you do and all the unique sets you come up with! ❤😊

Sometimes I do it because I don't want to have to file as much with my e-fil around the cuticle line, so I place the tip further and fill it in carefully with more gel. Otherwise, I just go in with a cuticle bit later to flesh it out and make it look more natural. I would say that you usually only need to leave the gap if you don't want to have to file a lot near your cuticles after application. I don't think it would work with the colored tips eiitherrr hahaha 😅 I hope that clears it up a bit for you! For the most part, I wouldn't worry about it too much if you aren't experiencing any trouble with your full cover tip application as it is 🤗💗

No! I've also used cheaper regular tips from temu and aliexpress, and in my experience, if you are using them with poly gel or acrylic, or even hard gel you should be fine! The XXL full cover tips with the gel-x method are just not it though 😂 If you bought them recently you could try getting a refund. If you say that the product doesn't work how it was described (they are obviously not gel as advertised) they might give you a refund without making you return them 😊
You knowwww, I'm not completely sure tbh 😂 Some people have told me that they do, and others have told me that no tips are actually gel, but actually just plastic and that they are only advertised like that to get people to buy them 🤷♀️ I'd have to do more research to find out the truth haha

Don't use glue use base coat to put your nails on. My nails did the same thing until I changed to the base coat. Those nails are garbage
