My daughter worked as a model in the Shelby booth at SEMA when he was still alive and involved, she had him sign a
Shelby hat for me which I still have. I wish she had taken a picture with him at the time....

Carroll Shelley is a true legend! 😀 everyone knows him! I really liked (real) Fords as a child. My father in the early 60s had already taken apart a Ford Mustang engine and noticed that it wasn't that good and had improved it. Mr. Herbst was a bad boy and drove his Mustang at high speeds in Düsseldorf. The police couldn't catch him :)))..I don't know the rest of the story, I would like to ask my father what it was like...but he's no longer alive. He's up in wahalla with taper men drinking beers... :D Greting from Germany !🍺🍻
