- Sarasota Tim talks about everything. Well, almost everything. He tells us his personal history. He told us he dropped out of school, was married several times, hardly worked, was a low earner. He films the mundane and posts multiple times a day. He films himself at Wal Mart. He shows himself making and drinking coffee over and over again. He tells people all about Medicare. He claims to be the King of Social Security videos on UA-cam. He tells people how they should live. He never speaks about taxes. All the financial advice he pounds out over and over again, he never tells people how to prepare for tax day. Isn't that odd?

Dim possibly filed 30 years ago when he worked detailing cars at a dealership. Only then would he have a W2. He probably let each one of his wives fill out the forms, and he would just co-sign.

Good video. I suspect Timbo wishes he would have never shared the info about the EIDL loan in a previous video which he has probably removed my now. This over-sharing has resulted in many videos about him and his grift. I suspect he has already heard from the Feds about either the EIDL loan or tax issues. My reasoning is the fact that he has his RV parked in an undisclosed location. Also, he used to get freebies from various companies to show and tell but tha also has gone away because he dare not publish a location to where he can physically be found. I think the walls are closing in on Timbo and I suspect Tammy is part of the fraud as well

He did mention he had a great accountant one time but that was a long time ago. I love how he mentions his new subscribers and all the likes but yet his views are going down. What a maroon!

Nice work, BV. Sarasota Tim is not very likely to talk about his taxes. He's too busy with crockpots now. He is simply too cheap to hire a competent tax accountant for all his income in 2023. It may take some time, but Timmay will soon receive notices from the IRS for unpaid taxes.

This was great. Have been wondering about his tax situation for a while. Sure seems like the walls are beginning to close in on him.
Tim "THE TAKER" Baker only has what he currently has since the pandemic and the EIDL loan. He is 65 years old and lives in an RV. He slept in a tent mooching off others before that. Then he grabs social security the first chance he gets because he HAD TO and that is what makes him think he's an expert. It was out of necessity.
Tim also does not talk about what he is really spending on that wonderful Advantage Plan. BV another great video.

I expect Timmy has a FL corp or LLC with an EIN and has told google to pay youtube money to that EIN.
Then he gets creative with expenses to report a loss (and no income tax).
Report losses for a few years; then shut down that corp/LLC; and start a new one...
Now I don't think Timmy has the smarts for this, but I expect he knows a scheister who can help.
I am turning 62 next month and am not taking social security. Not taking Tim's advice.

Something missed here and not mentioned is the fact that Tim gets a social security check, which means if he makes more than $22320 a year in SS then he has to file taxes and report any other income as well.
He doesn't want people to know how bad his poor planning is. He stupidly didn't wait till his full social security age whereby he wouldn't be penalized.
He has to file a tax return in any case since he received a 1099 from Google and if he makes more than the cap, his SS will be reduced by 50% for every dollar over that cap. He will be in much better shape next year since he will reach FRA.

I'm always amazed at people who have no idea what and how the tax situation works. Let's not forget....when employed said employer is required to withhold FICA and Social Security from you pay check. When an independent occasional "worker" (i.e. 1099) you are paid by the job. No taxes OR withholding are made and YOU are responsible to paying FICA and SS when filing your taxes. You need to be prepared and use a CPA/tax specialist.
yup, as someone who has had own business i paid both portions those years (not just the employee portion) but the employer portion too. so 7.65% on both sides was paid by me.

1099 are for self employed. He files his Ss income cause you get 1099R plus youtube income 1099 self employed. He going to owe money
if you makes a large amount from YT (not sure what he is getting) but if in 10k plus range he should be making quarterly estimated payments.

Don't forget, the IRS requires 1099 workers to file and pay quarterly taxes--and it's expensive to have to pay double your normal SS and FICA payroll tax, because that is what 1099's owe. Years ago, I worked as one for a large corporation; after a few years, the IRS came down on them for classifying us as 1099s instead of employees, as that's what we were. The corporation got hit with huge fines for misclassifying us.

Besides him and his taxes, what about his ss check and UA-cam money, he hasn’t reached full retirement age, so ss must reduce his check if he makes over the limit. Maybe he’s not reporting that either.

We are given a chance to FILE our Taxes....
Which may include Deductions.....
Those Deductions lower the $$$ that we would pay....

Bottom line. 1099 from UA-cam says 100,000 but you have 90,000 in expenses for content then your taxable income is 10,000. People up in the show low and Williams areas may operate that way too.
Which leads to getting loans. If you claim you're making $100, 000 that's not true fraudulently it's 10k.
