This looks very similar to the Elation Operator. Channel 7 in the video is most likely the channel that controls the dimming for the particular light he is programming. Different fixtures have different channel assignments.
Do the channel faders vary on different par cans? Is this just setup for the par cans in use? I've done lighting for pars when the channels are simply 1) Red, 2) Green, 3) Blue, 4) Master & 5) Strobe.
