I’m so glad you did a Walmart wax haul! I agree 100% that summer is where they shine. I was burning Kringle Caribbean Beach last night and to my nose it smells identical to BHG Caribbean Sea Breeze. My Kringle candle was so much lighter than the wax melt. I have the BHG Caribbean Sea Breeze in a candle (it’s my favorite summer scent) and I’m going to melt the candles in separate rooms and see if I feel the same way!
Great Haul! Sweet Watermelon & Buttercream reminds me of Goose Creek's Watermelon Cupcake 🧁 🍉. It's sooooo good! Definitely have to get to my local Walmart to grab a few new to me scents! Tahitian Woods is another fave!
I absolutely love both Sensational and BH&G wax from Walmart. Great value and majority are solid to great performers. Don’t come for me but I’m looking right at you Scentsy and Kringle. I have been burned more times than not when I fall for the hype machine that is Scentsy consultants and brand influencers. FOMO is real but far too many times I am left with expensive poor performers. Add shipping to that and it’s even more of a kick in the gut! Eric
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Scentsy product, but they definitely are hyped up by consultants and the price point. But it performs just on par with Walmart wax. 🤷♂️
Sorry, I forgot to mention how shady Goose Creek is with their Walmart based candles and wax melts. They are into their third season supplying Walmart now and the trend is there now to be recognized - absolutely unscented products, whereas products purchased directly from their website often have great performance. Shocking but true. For vendor wax, you are right about things selling out, they are all independent companies with their own unique and rabid fan bases, that when they open for sale, it is intense hunger games vibes in that you can’t pause to reflect for a second, otherwise things get snatched from your cart. It’s like vendor wax fight club!
I have Goose Creek from Walmart and Goose Creek from their website and they are the same in my opinion. Specifically Vanilla Bean and Blueberry Cheesecake.
Interesting that Goose Creek doesn’t have the same product online vs. at Walmart. I wonder how they determine which product goes to them. As far as vendor wax, I do want to try it but it’s not worth having to fight over scented wax!

Does your Walmart have goose Creek?
It has a couple of scents in the wax melts but no candles.
