The furniture store in the old church was stunning! Thanks for sharing. On our last move it took us at least a month to get unpacked and then it took over a year to really furnish the whole place 😆 Your place is already coming along so well! Will be nice to have a new cozy home setup for the holidays. ❤

Hi Ellen, yeah moving is stress. And it comes with a mess. But it is indeed good chaos. I am the same type. I like settling and feeling at home. Travelling is nice but I need a steady home base. That entrace/door so near the new mini sofaa in bay window - if that door is only way and shortest pathway to bring in food shopping bags into the kitchen from the car/front of the house vs carrying them along the house into bask garden around table in the conservatory, Id think to not get that sofa to increase seating space. I made that mistake. And when I got a baby later on, it really turn out to be a problem even more.

Hi, I moved drom central London to West Sussex last year and it was very exciting times. My kids are enjoying where we live now but my eldest miss his friends too. ❤

Thank you so much! Yes we have been talking about a sofa in the conservatory - still debating the best plan. We’ll keep the shelving unit for now, but will change it eventually - it doesn’t fit with the cottage vibe I’m going for! ❤️

We’ve just moved from India to Singapore (we’re Aussies that like to travel with our jobs😂), we have 3 teenage boys and I can promise you that 4 months in we haven’t unpacked all the boxes NOR bought our sofas. Our priority has been getting the boys bedrooms sorted and have had to start from scratch. So…..I’m hearing you….it’s an expensive endeavour!

I think a beautiful rustic style dining table, with maybe Rattan chairs would look so nice in the conservatory area, when you have friends over for dinner, they can sit and look at the view of the garden and river…
I love that idea - we have been talking about starting to hunt for a dining table, we definitely want to make the most of the conservatory area during festive season!! ❤️

I really recommend checking out Cathrin Manning's channel and her videos from a couple of years ago, she goes into all the details of starting from scratch, i learned loads from her! ❤️

Once you are more settled a good tip is to put the clothes Aires’s in the spare room. You can then shut the door and not have them hanging around your living space 👍

Then you will walk in and see the gorgeous sofa with art over it vs media unit🪄💞
A good idea! For now we’re leaving it there just because the wires are all in the right location, but we’ll definitely explore flipping it in the future! ❤️
