Hi Basant Sir ! Being a kolkatan I can relate to most of ur examples and instances which you attach with kolkata. This city is blessed to be ultra conservative in most of the cases. I am a Punjabi Sardar doing good in life but have inculcated that low key kolkatan mindset. Had I been grown up in delhi my mindset wud have been completety different. I mean I am friends to many marwaadis and we all are in our early 30s, most of my friends belong to very rich families but the good thing is none of my friend got easy bounties from their fathers. We worked our way. Sad to see a 17year 8month old being given a Porshe of 3.5 cr by his marwaadi dad. Staying low key even when you've made big is really Important.

This city is blessed to be ultra conservative in most of the cases. I am a Punjabi Sardar doing good in life but have inculcated that low key kolkatan mindset. Had I been grown up in delhi my mindset wud have been completety different.
I mean I am friends to many marwaadis and we all are in our early 30s, most of my friends belong to very rich families but the good thing is none of my friend got easy bounties from their fathers. We worked our way.
