- We are going to get a bunch of new dinosaurs as ARK Additions is going to be added to the core game starting with the Ceratosaurus. This was a surprise we didnt expect. But this is really exciting.

I would absolutely love to see any of the ark additions dinos added honestly, so much love a detail was put into every single one, and I'm so excited to see them in base game, massive props to Garuga!

I'm so pumped that Brachiosaurs are gonna be vanilla critters now. Though they and all the additions critters are gonna be hella nerfed. OR pvp players will run the day they became vanilla lol
the Ceratosaurus is one of the only creaturtes that does not crash your server or is so broken that it does not work.
I actualy dont like it that the Ceratosaurus is being added. its a hungry murder hobo that never dies because of the healing. If there are 2 Ceratosaurus together they can murder out every dino from existance. they never stop eating and murdering, making the map empthy.
Can anyone give me some advice with mods please, before I knew how to activate mods I loaded into single player and instantly found the cera and that big bird with its nest, I then found out how to get mods activated and downloaded the same mods (cera big bird and many more…) then activated them, when I got into the game with mods activated I could find certain new dinos in the game but haven’t seen any ceras or big birds and it was the exact same location.
Does anyone know if I can’t have the mods activated if the creature already spawns (e.g does the mod cancel out the spawn????)
Love the Cerato - will be nice to have another healng dino. I have bought Svart map - it is amazing he is a great modded.
I have not bought any premium mods yet. Svaltalfheim is the only one I would consider. I am very exited to hear about the new map. Just wish it wasn’t so big. I still like ark for ark and mostly just want the maps and their base content back for asa.

It doesn't matter how many dinos they add if the game still sucks. Ascended just keeps glitch killing you so there's no point in playing.
I must be the only person who doesn't care for the Ark Additions creatures. The Cerato looks like it's one of those cheap plastic toys from the 70s and not in a good way. This is little more than a distraction from the fact that they have had a number of bugs from the launch of Scorched Earth that have gone unpatched for over a month. All for premium mods on console?
And as far as premium mods becoming less restrictive, a point of data that seems to be being ignored is the amount of players who don't want to play with (those) mods whether they are free or not.
I dont like that if i buy a mod my friends need to actually buy it as well. That's kinda lame
If this is what it takes for Premium Mods to succeed, maybe they shouldn't exist. All players on a server should have equal chances to do everything a server offers.
Wonder what the reasoning is for adding modded dinos when there are so many already voted for.
I guess the change to premium mods is the only way they'll really work. Less bad now?

why? because they cheap out on server hardware and bandwith...
Hybernation + low render distance + low number of spawns to reduce the stress on the server AKA clown company.
