- Ever since I introduced the infinibore I have worked tirelessly to improve the design and make the fastest possible tunnel bore in minecraft, and with a little help from my friends we managed to achieve it. Introducing the new and improved infinibore which is easier to build, more lag efficient and 10 times faster than the original design. Where the previous design took hours this new machine takes only minutes using some insane tech and engineering.

This feels exactly like irl science where after some point only a select group of people understand what’s going on. But unlike real science they have the luck to see gods source code lmao.
What we don't know is that God programmed the universe in JavaScript...
no lol minecraft is completely closed source which makes these discoveries and machines even more impressive
@@josk8936Well we're doomed
@@iluvsoupersit is possible to use Mojang’s mappings and a jar decompiler to see an approximation of the original source code
@@iluvsoupers The MCP project has long since removed the label of closed source for Minecraft
Imagine if IRL scientists said "we made a raigun and it needs vines to dampen space-time disturbance that the railgun produces"
in quantum mechanics, do to quantum tunneling, is theoretically possible for a particle to move between points A and B faster than light by building a wall in the path
We made a railgun, and we need that hay bale under it for the projectile to not be afraid of falling to its death
@@alejoclosa7705 But the chances of it reforming into tnt is practicaly 0, and when i say practicaly, I mean SO MANY 0s in front of a 1
@@marcusmiles5449 i don't know what's you are talking about but sounds more like termodinamics than quantum tunneling(also i agree that that a single particle transforming into TNT is very unlikely)
I love redstone, but i don't understand this level of redstone. It's science in a Blockgame which I absolutly love
I’m wondering if minecraft themselves intended something this complicated to be built with red stone
@@Tom-vd4obdefinitely not, I don’t think the devs ever intended for entire masses of lands to be destroyed without player input
@@Tom-vd4ob Probably not up to this complexity, given how poorly optimized minecraft generally is.
But that's the beauty of minecraft (and often real life), how very simple components that do very simple tasks come together to form complex and genius machinery.
This is literally quantum physics of minecraft. It's in the same space as bedrock breakers.
Yesss exactly I love when a game is so well made you can literally create contraptions the devs never intended that abuses the internal workings of the game so well they can basically do magic
"Why does it have vines?"
"So the TNT won't try to break it's legs duh."
Redstone is now well and truly outside of my league....
Cubic metre is just the Industrial Revolution if they skipped all of the more basic stuff and started with time travel and the 4th dimension
I wouldn’t be surprised if time travel and the fourth dimension are basic concepts to these guys. Absolutely nuts.
Not really, all of this is built off of years of technical Minecraft players slowly innovating and discovering more about the game.
There are ways to time travel in minecraft, speedrunners do it in certain modalities.
finally a strip mining strat that works
“So I did a bit of off camera mining”
😂
@@Kitsune_rift”and i built a small and simple red stone contraption to help”
But is it grian and scar safe?
@@willparkinAs much as he uses "exactly" to describe a function, i highly doubt it🤣
This is beyond redstone engineering, this is 4th dimensional wizardry
You gotta love how cubic just casually invented a whole new redstone category
I will never understand how you guys achieve something like this. Brilliant.
You guys are geniuses of engineering!
The fact that you decompile/datamine minecraft just to know that the solution is using vines made me go "what the fff"
Things like those are the ones who separates the top TMC player pantheon from us mortals
6:30 The way Savvage got yeeted made burst out laughing. Nice vid overall. I'm just a bit scared of the moment you'll create a world eater that can actually destroy a world
I swear these contraptions need multiple page instruction booklets to use
I wish there was more instruction, I want this in my survival world but I don't understand it
@@JusTryNc He has a new video that is very good
This is basically real engineering dawg, you’re creations never cease to amaze me
I'm looking forward the instant perimeter technique 👀
That's a very impressive mechanic !
9:04 lmao I love how Minecraft from the outside is like a very like pristine and polished game, but you have the technical community coming in and finding and pointing out all these weird little mistakes and quirks, awesome video!
7:00 the moment you said "thanks to the massive lag optimizations" my video buffered lmfao
This is the kind of video where you went to the wrong class, understand nothing and stick around cause the teacher is cool
nice bot account
The year is 2033. After 2000 hours of work cubicmetre reveals his newest contraption, capable of wiping out every block in a minecraft world in a single tick. Of course, the drops automatically get sorted into a giant item sorter located in the nether. And all of it has to run on a single thread
you put vines in front of the cannon to preserve the stability of the universe during operation, for obscure reasons that required inscrutable seance to identify. this is literal black magic
-You see this big chunck of land?
-Yeah?
-Well our mining machine is slow, it take 2 hours to wipe the whole thing.
Meanwhile me with my pickaxe: Not even 5% of this whole land will be dug out in 2hours.
I can't understand how you pull this things of!
Amazing video!
great to see the oppenheimer marketing team doing so many interesting partnerships!
Next stop, the Barbie mansion in Malibu
Finally, minecraft multithreading has been achieved! Amazing work!
Since I saw that one video on the tnt orbital cannon I feel like I'm watching you almost all alone build a technical minecraft revolution. Can u imagine playing minecraft and not spending half of the time mining or building quarries?? This lazy chunk tnt thing is capable to change drastically all of that and just get free and unlimited perimetres all around a minecraft world by just building one no matter how big machine that does it for you. Tysm for the giant apport that you're making to the comunity and I hope you the best on this journey :)
I like your funny words, magic man.
watching this tech improve live has been incredible
A general overview of the infinibore settings
[3(tnt) per individual position x 2 vertical layers x 64 separators=384 total payload- to be able to set this, do 192 (176+16) payload count x 2 payload count multiplier ] -Settings for one slice
Cavitation spacing(spacing in-between charges)=6~10
[Cavitation Layer counter=total length of area/(0.93 (acceleration(blocks) per tnt)x 10(cavitation spacing)) Should always be (#/9.3) [EX:184/(0.93x10)=20 (round up) 20=Cavitation layer counter] - Multiplies the slice over boring area
If the cavitation layer counter>30?, divide by needed operations then multiply by cavitation spacing Eg:30(or any large cavitation layer counter)/2(operational runtime)=15(new cavitation layer counter), 10(cavitation spacing)x15(new cavitation layer counter)=150 (Operational spacing(132+18))
If not above 30, set operational spacing to 0 and operation runtime to 1(take one concrete out of the bottom dropper and put it in the top dropper). Operation runtime works as multiplier of the entire firing, dividing large operations into smaller chunks, separated by the operation spacing.
Increasing Operation Runtime adds a new, identical operation onto the end of the previous, literally multiplying the distance bored.
For Older version:
Length of separator array is 191, average top of exploded area is same level as observers of the separators.
For Newer version:
Max Cavitation Layer counter is 33, average top of bored area is 2 blocks above separator observers.
The old version has a 7 block difference in the vertical layers, so use that if you want to keep the same vertical area.
Payload count is now the separator length/2, or count the number of fence gates. If the separator length exceeds 198?, increase the counter on the separator, then multiply that number by the current Payload count multiplier for your new multiplier.
Importantly- I don't understand the new way the payload count is calculated, and why 4 is the optimal payload count multiplier.
-In-between launches, use the incrementor reset. I don't know why, but just do it.
-I do not understand the Hex encoder, and how it tells the machine its range or tells the machine anything.
If someone who understands this better could help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Oh come on this is just getting absurd. Remote instant annihilation that is lag optimised? Crazy stuff
I cant stop loving this machine, its definitely one of the coolest so far. Thanks for the amazing content cubic. :)
Could the vines also be used to reduce lag on the orbital cannon? if so, i'd love to see a revisit on the cannon
:O
The cannon already uses powdered snow so I assume that this would be redundant? Powdered snow also prevents fall damage.
@@kingacrisiusah makes sense
This is not minecraft anymore. This is actual engineering. What a great game
I've got no idea why, but I found the anti-lag vines to be hilarious. It makes perfect sense in such a twisted way.
To separate in larger batches you could have also just used a weighted pressure plate and a longer redstone line running to a trap door or fencegate, and then configuring the redstone line so that when the iron weighted pressure plate gives an output of eg 11 (101 tnt) the trap door/fence gate closes and the separation is done. I've been doing something similar for a factions cannon, gonna release soon
that's clearly the next step of power if needed - separate after 101 minecarts
weighted plates don't update their signal strength for 10gt after being triggered, meaning you can't use them to stack sep specific quantities
@@cubicmetre oh that sucks, thought it was possible but just tested and you're right
@@BelgianBombercubic ain't no rookie
always impressive how a few small optimizations can make something sooo much better
btw that minecart trick in the entity separation was pretty clever
The french genius approves!
I see Saxton Hale skin . Instant sub. Very interesting video btw
You're an absolute genius! Amazing work. And its resourse efficient!
I really really want to build this :O
I suspect the raycast the TNT performs for fall damage reasons is built into the Entity class. That would be classic object-oriented programming, where you just reuse a class even though it doesn't really fit the use case.
This guy is leading the minceraft industrial revolution and I love it.
I don’t understand anything but it’s interesting and you put so much effort into it
Docm77: Ooh,a new tunnel bore
*Grian and Scar: Ooh, free diamonds*
"which will perform the stack indexing for the seperation stage" sounds a whole lot more like rocket science than redstone.
"Hmm I wonder what super neat system they're going to come up with for the excessive chunk loading issue"
vines
Man, i wish at some point i reach this level of understanding game :)
Absolutely astonishing machine...
This is such a great improvement of an already awesome technical build. Great video as well, good explanation. :D
We call this render queue in cannoning terms, super cool contraption you have here!
and yet another awesome project!
Thanks for your video, cubicmetre
I think you are one of the most underrated redstoner. Your videos are awesome in every way.
I'm gonna take the joke, you can't stop me.
So it may be the most efficient tunnel bore to date but.....
Is it Grian and Scar proof?
I mean...
You can break it by looking at it wrong so...
Probably not 😅
It's actually pretty resistant to being used improperly, there is a safety switch that won't start the machine unless the player is loading it at the edge of their render distance and even if something does go wrong its normally an explosion localised to a small part of the machine. You might need to rebuild the conveyor if you load it while its running though.
@@cubicmetre might be worth to show how not to operate it and how to repair it.
Was just about to go to sleep. Looks like I am staying up another 11 minutes.
Leaked pre-release Oppenheimer footage
Let's give it to grian to stress test it!
3 videos in one month? Someone wake me up
9:04 I love technical minecraft because there is always something interesting to learn.
I don't know if you're ever planning on revisiting the orbital strike cannon, but I'd love to see a version of it made in the April fool's snapshot one block at a time if you're up for the challenge! In OBAAT two of the largest challanges are transporting a lot of items large distances, and excavating large areas, and the orbital cannon could probably be modified to fire the falling blocks the player can throw out for that first problem, while the second is already covered by the current design
absolutely criminal u dont have a million subs. every video u make is mental dude
Damn. I didn’t think the old one would get much better. This is crazy

@@harryhelina9859 that’s me (:
your interest in tnt tech is revolutioning minecraft tech
I refuse to believe that this is still just vanilla game mechanics. This is insane
This is what means implementing microelectronics & discrete circuit to Minecraft
I cant wait until i see other people trying to use this in servers to replace giant tunnel bores. totally unlocks a different scale of mining in survival. Next goal should be infiniquarry.
What pc specs would I need to run this comfortably?
Don’t tell me you’re looking forward to do some off camera mining!?
I just loaded the schematic in my server.
edit:thanks for melting my desk and burning down my house and im pretty sure the aternos building exploded
this is very impressive, great work
I have spent so much time researching this. If I were to study instead at this level I maybe would even pass school.

I feel like if any of the useful redstone minecraft mods got added, you'd be beyond the pale of a god at this game than you already are.
dude imagine you go afk for an hour and the damn GROUND 7 blocks under your entire render distance of your base is just gone
You wouldn't be able to warp the tnt through terrain if it is being loaded by another player, but you could definitely do this while they are offline
@@cubicmetre dear god the pranking potential is real
OMG this is sooo op... wow, great work
Quarry plus, build craft, and ender quarry joined chat.
Amazing! Now all we need is a variant that can literally create a perimeter in minutes.
Perimeter would be a lot slower because 3 dimensions, but the acceleration would certainly help
Perimeter size 500k x 500k perimeter?
Incredible show of skill and knowledge. I aspire to learn more.
I can't imagine how fast and automated netherite mining is going to be after this. All you need is a flying machine to collect all the netherite, and you can completely collect netherite afk.
Ok.. so we have the orbital strike bunker buster, we have the infini-bore. Now all we need is a combo to make the ultimate perimeter-bore.
And dont say tnt flyng machines those are boring
Would you mind doing some sort of "user manual" type of video for these machines?
G'day indeed
It may be slow, but I'll be darned if it isn't fun to watch that slime arm go back and forth (0:18)
Infinite range build obliterator. Imagine what people could use this for in regards to griefing. Hey is that guy you don’t like gonna be offline for the next few hours? Boot up your infinite tunnel bore and level his base!
Level their base and the entire biome down to bedrock ...
I think my poor laptop will explode if I even look at that machine
Crazy impressive. I'm happy it's actually usable now.
Man, so many neat redstone creations in the past few months.
@Docm77 joined The chat
Alternative name for this machine: Oppenminer
now add a vertical flying machine, which moves the lower block (as you have shown manually) so it can do multiple layers and perhaps even perimeters. to cancel the raycast, water could be used that goes all the way down (idk if water works but it would be easy to make it go all the way to the bottom)
There are already dedicated perimeter machines. This is the infinibore, its bores infini.
@@ppeez infini-perimeter :D
Ok now use this concept to make a perimeter
Man I am really considering building this in my hardcore world..
Ancient debris here we come
Btw do you know what common server software this works on? Obviously it works in vanilla, but I am unsure if any of the lag optimizations in things like paper and etc would break it. I assume they probably would, but it doesn't hurt to ask, I suppose.
Also this is really impressive! I'm not really the kind of person to speak in all caps and start spamming random letters when I'm excited about something, but know that this is really cool! I'm blown away by how thoroughly you understand so many different weird mechanics in this game, and by how dedicated you are to making such useful and strange things!
Why u didn't put world download in the description it would be so cool to build it myself but I dont know where and how many items I have to put in droppers, hoppers, chests.
Omg. This is crazy.
If it wasn't for the explanation I would just say this is straight up black magic... actually even with the explanation I'll still go ahead and say it: THIS IS BLACK MAGIC!!!!
The thing that gets me is how many resources are being wasted by being destroyed instead of used.
Speaking of controlling the height the TNT explodes at, couldn't we turn this into a world eater for perimeters? We would just need the blocks at different heights on sticky pistons on some sort of clock or observer whenever the previous payload passes that stations. Thoughts anyone?
Mineblowen 🤯
Now I think we just need a flying machine to builds most of the conveyer automatically
Incredible !
Still explodes when you look at it too hard
At the beginning of this video.
I’m confused by the way he says 2 hours for an area that size is slow, I was under the impression that was way faster than traditional methods
11 th no more mining with pressing the note block on the tunnel bore
"Proof of concept"
The things you guys can figure out simply blows my mind (I guess that is the point, lol)
Edit: imagine the next minecraft update saying: "Fixed TnT taking fall damage".
