  • Ever since I introduced the infinibore I have worked tirelessly to improve the design and make the fastest possible tunnel bore in minecraft, and with a little help from my friends we managed to achieve it. Introducing the new and improved infinibore which is easier to build, more lag efficient and 10 times faster than the original design. Where the previous design took hours this new machine takes only minutes using some insane tech and engineering.
Infinibore World Download, BE AWARE that the cannon WILL NOT work on different editions of the game such as paper/spigot, purpur or Bedrock edition::

A general overview of the infinibore settings
[3(tnt) per individual position x 2 vertical layers x 64 separators=384 total payload- to be able to set this, do 192 (176+16) payload count x 2 payload count multiplier ] -Settings for one slice
    Cavitation spacing(spacing in-between charges)=6~10
[Cavitation Layer counter=total length of area/(0.93 (acceleration(blocks) per tnt)x 10(cavitation spacing)) Should always be (#/9.3) [EX:184/(0.93x10)=20 (round up) 20=Cavitation layer counter] - Multiplies the slice over boring area
If the cavitation layer counter>30?, divide by needed operations then multiply by cavitation spacing Eg:30(or any large cavitation layer counter)/2(operational runtime)=15(new cavitation layer counter), 10(cavitation spacing)x15(new cavitation layer counter)=150 (Operational spacing(132+18))
If not above 30, set operational spacing to 0 and operation runtime to 1(take one concrete out of the bottom dropper and put it in the top dropper). Operation runtime works as multiplier of the entire firing, dividing large operations into smaller chunks, separated by the operation spacing.
Increasing Operation Runtime adds a new, identical operation onto the end of the previous, literally multiplying the distance bored.
    For Older version:
Length of separator array is 191, average top of exploded area is same level as observers of the separators.
    For Newer version:
Max Cavitation Layer counter is 33, average top of bored area is 2 blocks above separator observers.
The old version has a 7 block difference in the vertical layers, so use that if you want to keep the same vertical area.
Payload count is now the separator length/2, or count the number of fence gates. If the separator length exceeds 198?, increase the counter on the separator, then multiply that number by the current Payload count multiplier for your new multiplier.
Importantly- I don't understand the new way the payload count is calculated, and why 4 is the optimal payload count multiplier.
-In-between launches, use the incrementor reset. I don't know why, but just do it.
-I do not understand the Hex encoder, and how it tells the machine its range or tells the machine anything.
If someone who understands this better could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

To separate in larger batches you could have also just used a weighted pressure plate and a longer redstone line running to a trap door or fencegate, and then configuring the redstone line so that when the iron weighted pressure plate gives an output of eg 11 (101 tnt) the trap door/fence gate closes and the separation is done. I've been doing something similar for a factions cannon, gonna release soon

now add a vertical flying machine, which moves the lower block (as you have shown manually) so it can do multiple layers and perhaps even perimeters. to cancel the raycast, water could be used that goes all the way down (idk if water works but it would be easy to make it go all the way to the bottom)

There are already dedicated perimeter machines. This is the infinibore, its bores infini.

Btw do you know what common server software this works on? Obviously it works in vanilla, but I am unsure if any of the lag optimizations in things like paper and etc would break it. I assume they probably would, but it doesn't hurt to ask, I suppose.

Also this is really impressive! I'm not really the kind of person to speak in all caps and start spamming random letters when I'm excited about something, but know that this is really cool! I'm blown away by how thoroughly you understand so many different weird mechanics in this game, and by how dedicated you are to making such useful and strange things!

Why u didn't put world download in the description it would be so cool to build it myself but I dont know where and how many items I have to put in droppers, hoppers, chests.

If it wasn't for the explanation I would just say this is straight up black magic... actually even with the explanation I'll still go ahead and say it: THIS IS BLACK MAGIC!!!!

The thing that gets me is how many resources are being wasted by being destroyed instead of used.

Speaking of controlling the height the TNT explodes at, couldn't we turn this into a world eater for perimeters? We would just need the blocks at different heights on sticky pistons on some sort of clock or observer whenever the previous payload passes that stations. Thoughts anyone?

I’m confused by the way he says 2 hours for an area that size is slow, I was under the impression that was way faster than traditional methods
