  • We hit the ground running in Myanmar with 3 days in Yangon, the biggest city of the country.
We discovered that the best and cheapest way to see the city was to take the local Yangon circle train for a half-day, up close and local experience. It's every Yangoonie’s favourite way to travel cheap and believe or not, pick up local ingredients and snacks!
Swedagon pagoda is also not to be missed. The 326-foot-tall pagoda is situated on Singuttara Hill, to the west of Kandawgyi Lake, and dominates the Yangon skyline. It's a great place to meet local monks :)

This a little more vlog style, the go pro is great at capturing the crazy details on the wide angle, albeit a little shaky! Hope you enjoy this video on Yangon!

It's Yangon (pronounced ON) not Yangooon and, I've never ever heard of Yangoonie's.
