Recently purchased North Africa after having a trial run through at a friends, who is a Warfighter addict & purchased both, with either 14 or 16 packs of cards. Just need to get the game on the table. Excellent unboxing and info,. Thank you.
Wish DVG put more effort into their rule books. After trying to decipher Zero Leader I'm hesitant to try any more games from DVG. They need to hire a dedicated technical writer...editor..etc.
Thanks! Very helpful as ever. 😊 I see on other videos that you and Grant really enjoy the WWII Warfighter games. I have the modern version and now you’ve intrigued me about World War II. Both Mediterranean and North Africa are of interest to me, but I only would like to get one for now. I like that first expansion for Crete has New Zealanders. I’m wondering if you would recommend the Med or North Africa , if one grabbed you a bit more? Thanks!
The reality is the difference is purely theme based. If you want desert locations and heat/water needs against the Germans, do NA. If you want to fight Italians and go through narrow roads and mountains, Mediterranean.
What a game system! I KNEW, when i first began to play WF Modern, that this system had amazing legs! I have bought SO MUCH for this game, over the years, I have THREE ammo boxes to keep any of it straight. WHAT this game system gives the player is the breath of "up close and personal"... and tactical decisions... successes and utter failures... it is a PERSONAL game! The options are limitless... to the point, where (in the future)... you will be able to bring a KNIGHT into WF WWII, or a DRAGON into WF Modern.... from the vantage of a fiction writer... what other game simulates this? DVG is simply the BEST, followed by Columbia block games, and RPG's like "Twilight 2000".
The answer to that is yea and no. Some expansions you can drop in to any box set, but other are tailored and require specific core sets. Which expansions are you looking at?
@ThePlayersAid Aw OK. I was looking at the Japanese 1 and 2 sets. I did get 2 that ate thematic with the North africa set but as I'm new to the game I was a bit unsure about other expansions. Thanks for answering so quickly. 👍🏻
@@markwilliamson3043 No worries, glad to help, as they're def not very clear about it. For the Japanese expansions you would need the Pacific Core set.

The TS are also new to the system. Work like PS but without Action Cards. The cheap (but worth to buy) guys are the Squad Soldiers, not the NPS....

Is North Africa out yet? My local FLGS comes up empty when you search it and DVG has no images (last I checked).
They were released at the same time, at least for us.
@@ThePlayersAid Thank you.
I just got north africa and love it. does any expansion go with any core set? i'm a bit confused
