- Here's a mashup I finished a couple days ago. I've been wanting to do a mashup with Owl City for a while now, and I'm glad I was able to find a decent match for one of my favourite songs of his. Anyways, I hope you enjoy! :)

The background music of fireflies used to give me nightmares idk why, but hearing it now in this it works so well and ngl, this is my favourite mashup. 5yr old me and 10yr old me are holding hands crying for two different reasons but one comforts the other with both kinds of music.

These two songs mean so much to me it hurts. When I was younger Fireflies was my favourite song because I felt like I could relate or this song for some reason. When I got older tøp was my favourite band and the song that essentially saved my life was holding on to you, let’s just say it stopped me from doing something bad and that song got me really invested in to tøp in the first place, so to see someone make this mash up means the whole world to me literally. I can’t express how nostalgic this makes me feel. Thank you for making this mash up.

I'm legit crying. Owl city and twenty øne piløts are two of my all time favorite bands. I do find it annoying when people slow down vocal tracks bc it ends up changing the entire pitch of the vocals. Tyler doesn't sound like Tyler with his voice deep like that bc the track is slowed down. Just my opinion tho
Tyler's vocals are actually at the same speed as the original. I just had to change the pitch because they didn't match.

I remember when I was about 10 or 11 I sang Fireflies by Owl City for a solo concert because I would stay up at night and worry about what other people said about me and I guess I could relate. It helped me go back to sleep. I found twenty one pilots a couple years later struggling with the same thing, they helped me too. This is just perfect, thank you for making this. It made me so happy.
