You aren't going to lose trade with the EU you are just going to have pay a lot more for it. Import and export tariffs, things which the Shenghen agreement and others like it did away with. After 40 odd years of working together it would seem silly to think that an unknown "risk" is worth losing hard fought for trade and travel regulations over. The fact remains that many people who voted leave were swayed by untruthful arguments by self seeking politician such as Boris Johnson and Rees Mogg. Johnson has since reneged on his promise to the people regarding funding the NHS and Rees Mogg has moved part of his company to Eire, there is confidence, eh? The fact that someone who uses a Nazi icon as his avatar does not understand something is hardly a good basis to start a discussion regarding the future of a sovereign nation but hey ho. Others who voted were ill informed regarding many things or, indeed, just stupid like the person who writes electronically on here yet still misspells rationing.
😆 So you're understanding of Brexit was.......we want to leave the EU so we can pay more for their goods ? 🤣 Ermmmmm.... why not SHOP ELSEWHERE.....that was one of the point's of Brexit. With a brain like that, no wander you are a Remainer. 🙄
Correct me if I am wrong, but Japan's isolation is what made them what they are now today--a highly developed country that is culturally rich. The point here is, if UK does exit from EU, then it is not really a big loss. Perhaps, this could be also a way for UK to grow more (not that it is not already rich). It is not comparison but more of an example. Peace out😊
Of course there is something u missed. UK was never a big friend of EU. They joined only because they saw, that the growth inside the EU was bigger than the growth of UK alone. Leaving a zone with a better economic development for all member is surely hurting UK. Adding that the economy of UK and Japan is not comparable by just pointing out that Japan developed in a highly technolised country. If u look at the history of Britains econimy development, u will see that Britain never developed in any way like Japan did. So why should Japans success from a country with almost no economic power to what they are today have anything to do with a complete different economy like UKs that got hurt from not being in the EU market decades age? And last but not least. If u r mentioning Japan regarding a news video about brexit in a one liner it is both at best. An example and a comparison. Without trying to suggest that Britains economy could develop in any way, shape or form like the economy of Japan, that oneliner would just make no sense.
I try to give an example. Let us think, Japan had the possibility of joining the EU. Why would they do that? Only because the economic development inside the EU would be much higher than the development of Japan alone. At that point Japan would lose every trade agreement they now have with any other country, because EU trade agreements would take over. If Japan decides 30 years later on leaving the EU again, they had at least these 2 problems. First, they economic status is actually much higher than it would be, if Japan never entered the EU...so its economy would either decline or at least slow down so much, that they would fall back to the status they once had. Second, they had to reestablish trade relations with any other country they traded with from the beginning, because they dont exist anymore. Until that, Japan had to trade with other countries on the most basic level possible, the rules of the WTO, what would be a big disadvantage against any other country. A country in such a desperate situation would have some serious problem getting the same trade agreements they once had...but these agreements wouldnt match these as a member of EU, because a economy with 500Mio. has much more weight on the market than a country of 100Mio. Would Japan survive it? Of course. Would they recover? Most certainly. Would it hurt the ppl of Japan? This u can bet on. And this last point is what the whole discussion is about. The ppl of Britain have no idea what is coming to them...and im not even sure if they will know it when it happens.
Why don't you do another cartoon About DEMOCRATICLY ELECTED MADURO, Bank of England took Maduro's money ILLEGALLY.. so UK can pay BREXIT bill from poor peoples' money

Heard of Japan's isolation?
u cant compare to different countries just by naming them...

Excuse me for my writing errors, my day was quite long and hard :)

The risk of the unknown byleaving is equal to the risk of the unknown by remaining...
Not really because we know what would have happened if we had stayed
