I went to la. Hayride 55 when I was 8 an 9 yrs old Elvis, everybody then, every sat.nite.we parked in back with all the singers. What a way to go up,Elvis, George Jones, so many.my Mom an dad gave song requests, it seemed so normal,Dennis taylor
Faron Young was one of my favorite country singers ever first time I saw him was at Williams Grove amusement park in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania what a great voice
I BELIEVE THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS DONE BY FARON YOUNG AND VERY UNDER RATED .THIS ALBUM SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE ON GOOGLE MUSIC IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM. IRATE THIS ALBUM 20/10
I have vivid memories of watching the light green Mercury records label going round on the turntable, the summer sun streaming through the back door onto the carpet, the smell of bacon cooking and my dad's lovely face singing along whilst making breakfast on a Saturday morning.... It must have been around 1977/1978 as I couldn't have been more than 2/3 years old. He must've bought this album a year after its release in 72 when he came out of the navy in 73 and it remained one of his favourites until the end. My dad was 2 years older than Faron. I love this album so much but can't listen without crying,, such happy memories it brings but always makes me miss my dad and breaks my heart knowing that Faron took his own life in 1996? So sad. In his prime Faron was so handsome and his voice makes me melt though you can hear a sadness coming through it I think on this album.
I always wished they would have B sided FOUR IN THE MORNING with WHEN ARE YOU EVER GONNA LEARN,, seems like a great early 70's beer joint jukebox one two punch to me...

Couldn't agree more, his voice on this album is like velvet, every track fills me with emotion, nothing come s close, sublime ✨❤✨
Every song on this album could have been a hit on its own, because the songs were so good ,which is why I say this album is no 1.

Thank you for sharing this great remembrance.
Thank you. Beautiful. His voice could make any song better. Miss him 🙏❤️
My favorite song Faron ever done, after the fire is gone
I'm feeling like a kid at Christmas discovering Faron.
❤️ Faron Young
Amazing album.
All of Farons' singing is dynamite. I am a new convert. I've always liked classic country but I'm really turning on to old Mr. Faron right about now
Thanks for sharing!!
Very nice country music. Thanks again.

END THE FED. Gold is money.
He ain't dead
I'd like to write a list of my favourite songs from Faron Young discography...it certainly will be a long playlist.(Brazil)

Wow
❤
Faron wanted to the song title of It's Four in the Morning to be The Wanting in Me but I think Jerry Kennedy squashed that.
Lloyd green is so incredible on these albums. Paul Franklin is good, but Lloyd is so much better.
So tru. Tks
OK..j'ai identifié le musicien à la pedal steel..c'est peut être.... Tom Brumley 👍
It is the legendary Lloyd Green.
