I shaved my head at 18 because of bad hair genetics, i was thinning and balding pretty badly and i was ashamed of it until i said goodbye to it and completely shaved it off, i felt really good after being so angey and sad that i lost my hair at this age. So don't stress about it because no one really cares or think bad of you because of it, and you look awesome with it.
@@DreamingElephant I did it on a lark, fully expecting to let it grow back. But I like it so much that I made the decision to maintain it. Feels phenomenal.
Incredible stuff. The end really sneaks up on you emotionally. I'm 25, but everyone since childhood has called me an "old soul" since I can remember. I am just always trying to find moments to slow down and be myself. I used to read hundreds of books under a eucalyptus tree in our elementary schoolyard as a child. The tree is gone now, but I still find myself reaching back to that part of myself. Watching movies, listeining to vinyl records, reading Calvin and Hobbes... sometimes I'll sit for an hour replaying childhood memories in my head. I wonder what that boy would think about my life now, and where I live... all the dreams that didnt happen, and the ones I never imagined that did. I have long hair and It's not thinning noticeably yet, but I think about shaving it all the time. I like growing out a big bushy beard and shaving it away in parts. from beard to mutton chops to goatee to mustache. That's the fun stuff in life. Coworkers either love it or think I'm a bit crazy. That's life I guess.
I’m 20 years old and I found this video very emotional and moving and when I read the other comments someone in their 50s said they found it hilarious, interesting to see the difference in interpretations among the age groups 😅
Very interesting huh. My intention wasn't to convey 'wow I'm old' but rather 'wow I'm aging and life isn't so simple anymore'. I'm glad it was touching for you in some way, thanks for sharing your comment. :)
I’m 32 and I started losing my hair at age 30 when I noticed thinning in the crown and my hairline was receding so last year months after I turned 31 I shaved my head since I couldn’t deal with hair loss anymore I felt so relieved and made me wish I did it earlier best decision I ever made.
Believe my bald head, you made the right decision. Keep your hair buzzed or even try a razor shave, with a short or long beard, or perhaps a goatee or a mustache.

The buzz cut is a great look for you. Makes you look younger. I did the buzz for a while but ultimately shaved slick and LOVE it.
