Careful Listening

God’s Word is the means whereby we come to trust in Jesus and learn to live for Him. Yet as Jesus taught, we must have “ears to hear” the truths contained in Scripture. Alistair Begg warns that even Scripture’s most important truths will not impact us until we are awakened by God’s grace and Spirit. When we open our Bible, we must consider it carefully, believe it thoroughly, and practice it diligently-and God will graciously reward our careful consideration.
