You stayed at one of the best top 10 hotels in Yangon, Myanmar. The danger is mostly for journalists, and if you travel outside of the cities - there is conflict in outlying zones which are currently contested (has existing armed conflict) and if you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Yangon is still mostly under control of the junta, and they won't bother most tourists as long as you do touristy things. Thank you is "Jay-zoo tin bar de". Thank you so much for visiting Myanmar! Your video was very insightful and captured many aspects of Yangon beautifully. It’s great to see you enjoyed your stay at the Pan Pacific and the Lotte Hotel. They are indeed among the nicest places to stay here. I appreciate you sharing the historical and cultural context of Myanmar, though I hope future visitors will also see the resilience and warmth of the people amidst the challenges we face. Our country has a rich and complex history, and it's important for visitors to be aware and respectful of the current situation. I’m glad you enjoyed the local cuisine. Tea leaf salad (lahpet thoke) and mohinga are indeed some of our beloved dishes. It’s always interesting to see how foreigners perceive our food and traditions. If you visit again, I recommend also exploring some lesser-known places like the local tea shops, hidden markets, and maybe even taking a day trip to the ancient city of Bagan to see the thousands of pagodas there. Thank you for sharing your experience, and I hope more people get to see the beauty of Myanmar through your eyes. Safe travels!
