Aventurine is like one of the only characters who is important enough to get a backstory explanation and not "oh he has trauma and thats it" on a lot of characters. I start crying everytime i see him now

No cuz remember that one lightcone of his with dr ratio? I didnt even know the name of this man back when i saw it on the day it released, but i knew i was gonna love his character no matter if he ends up a hero or a villain.
I saw Aventurine for the first time and KNEW. He was traumatized. The way he acted it was just… I’m not sure how to explain it, he seemed so dissociated with everything… being threatened, insulted, attacked, I mean he was just keeping the same “Ok and?” Face/voice on the whole time- there was no way he could have had a good childhood or even a good like in the IPC. His conversation with Sparkle made me realize that he’s so far down that he could probably be beat to the point of barley death and he’d probably still not care at all- (haven’t finished the story, my phone storage is full and I actually might not be able to, which makes me so freaking sadddd 😭) but Aventuirne became my favorite character the first time he was on screen in the hotel- But was really got to me in this trailer was Aventurine’s laugh, his raw genuine laugh. @@user-wf5jm2nc1h yeah unfortunately I do have 64GB, the game took up so much storage that it was affected other apps so I had to delete it, I went from 63GB used to 32GB, it saddened me but at least the progress on my account will never be deleted and I have the information saved
Thank God he's alive, he's genuinely one of my fav characters and if he died I would have lost it 😭 he doesn't deserve to die with all those horrible things that happened to him and I like how he waved back to his little self showing as if he's moving on from the past and letting go his top hat in a way letting go his gambling addictions that came with his past and trauma... man he is definitely one if the BEST characters have a an incredible but sad story

People seem to overwrite empathy over justice and everything else lol. It's good to be empathetic, but so many people let it cloud their judgement. Many horrible people had bad things happened to them.
I understand where you’re coming from, but sometimes, emotions are more powerful than logic. Even if he’s done horrible things and doesn’t deserve forgiveness, people want to and have forgiven him. We give him mercy because of our understanding of how much pain he went through. Pain changes people, but giving those people grace can also change them.
I literally cried-screamed that troughout the whole quest. I swear, I was so happy when Acheron didn't really kill him and actually helped him a bit. That's why she's the GOAT.
I didn't really like his character when we first saw him (still... I already decided to pull for him), but I wasn't expecting Penaconys story go this way at all, in the end after knowing his past, at this cutscene I cried around 15 minutes... Wow, that's the fourth time when I'm crying over a game character 🙂
I didn't trust him one bit before 2.1 but i think that's just natural, had they not done this for aventurine, finally letting go of his past and moving on, i feel like i wouldn't have had this change of heart
finally a character with a traumatic backstory- hsr doesnt really explain the character's backstory that much, compared to genshin at least (i personally like a backstory with some trauma, it kinda just makes me love the character more than i already do and its interesting to know the lore)

You know what, like other people said, I knew as well from the very start that he is not like that, he's just acting. From that part when he was in trailblazer's room in the hotel and doctor Ratio was talking bad towards him, and then left him, Aventurine showed his real face. He's expression went from smirk, from smile to straight face expression, sad expression. The same happened when he was talking to Sparkle, because after the conversation with her he went to this face expression again. It's like you're a professionalist in your job, and when you see a truly depressed and sad, maybe even broken person you can tell it. You can tell that it's just acting(when a person trying to act strong, but when they are alone they are exhausted, they are broken and sad), that it's just part of an action, it's not their true face, it's not what they truly feel. And when I see it I can tell it. When I saw Aventurine's behavior I knew that something was wrong with him, that he's clearly not okay. And it feels strange because you can't explain to someone(irl) who hasn't been through all this stuff how to understand when it's a real big deal, and where it's just acting for different purposes (I mean irl. For example, where in TikTok videos or UA-cam videos it's just acting, jokes, or social experiment, and where it's a person's real problem). It feels strange. Because others can see it as just acting, just for commercial purposes, as just jokes, but they don't see what some people can see. When they see and meet all those things that scream, that show that that person is not okay, you just know it and can't explain it to others. That's how I felt straight from the beginning 2.0.
This video was my pushing point to skip Acheron and get aventurine instead, even tho I already pre farmed everything for her (since I lost the 50/50 and have wasted around 100 tickets trying to get her)
@@Vickyshoka Nahh I already have a DPS for each element that all do usually 100k +, the only défense character I have is gepard and 5 star healer is bailu, and I lost the Acheron 50/50 to her and I have lost so many 50/50 to her to the point I don’t wanna touch her anymore, so aventurine will be good since his skill is défense and not ultimate, but thanks for the advice still!

Its a game called Honkai Starrail! It’s made by Mihoyo/Hoyoverse and it’s quite similar to another game called Genshin Impact! Both are free world gacha games :D
As the others have said, it’s called Honkai Star Rail. Heavily recommend playing it. It takes a bit of time to catch up to where the story currently is but it is 100% worth it. Completely free btw

@@Vickyshoka Nahh I already have a DPS for each element that all do usually 100k +, the only défense character I have is gepard and 5 star healer is bailu, and I lost the Acheron 50/50 to her and I have lost so many 50/50 to her to the point I don’t wanna touch her anymore, so aventurine will be good since his skill is défense and not ultimate, but thanks for the advice still!

Its a game called Honkai Starrail! It’s made by Mihoyo/Hoyoverse and it’s quite similar to another game called Genshin Impact! Both are free world gacha games :D
As the others have said, it’s called Honkai Star Rail. Heavily recommend playing it. It takes a bit of time to catch up to where the story currently is but it is 100% worth it. Completely free btw
