Replaced the pump which runs fine as I started it with open lines and it sprayed gas all over the floor. However, the bike wont run for more than two seconds. Can there be air in the fuel line? Any tips on draining the air?
I can’t find a fuel pump for my 2012 wr450 stopped riding it and it sat for a like two years now won’t start found it’s a fuel issue and the fuel pump isn’t getting fuel thru the lines into the injector so no fuel getting to spark plug. Where I can I buy a new pump with the housing I can find the pump it’s self and filter etc but not a complete one ready to go straight in the tank
Is it a piece with a 90 degreee bend in it that sits on top of the injector? If so, Yamaha calls it a "Pipe" (Part# 1SM-13938-00-00). If that isn't the correct piece you should be able to track it down in the OEM parts finder to make sure you get the correct piece: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-parts Hope that helps!
Thanks for the vid. Do you know of a fix for the 2017 husqvarna 501 clutch slave cylinder? The rubber seal is failing at an alarming rate. Magura bought cheap rubber seals, they tear. Can we buy the seal?
manufacturers are higher than a freaking kite suggesting replacement every 3hr/300mi intervals. $90 aftermarket or $400 (OEM) every 3hrs/300mi? ROFLMAO. If it's that bad, the pump needs to be redesigned.
I give 10/10 how this tutorial is done. No bla bla. Pro video work as well. Great!
ten out of ten!
Nice Steve.
Do you have a link to those Yamaha fuel tank.line plugs please?
There isn't a video specifically for my bike, but this procedure is pretty typical, I'd reckon?
The process for the fuel pump is going to be generally the same, refer to your owners manual for specifics.
Plug kit link and that tank screen link
?? I can’t find it on your website or anywhere
We don't have a plug kit instock, but we do have the tank screen.

Is it normal for your fuel pump to buzz when trying to start but doing start just keep cranking no start
Have the same issue. Curious. What was it?
What size torque wrench is that?? 1/2” or 3/8”?

Is this the same process for a WR125R?
What is the part called that the fuel line coming from the fuel pump connects into. Mine is snapped off.

Where is the link to the screen that you inserted into the top of the tank?
That's the Twin Air Fuel Filter. Check out the first link in the description!

Cool video! But that sucks instead just changing the filter you need to change the whole thing hopefully that fuel pump is cheap but i doubt it
$300+ Dollars astronomical will stick with 2strokes until they ban them.
