Has the AI seemed especially out of control to anyone else lately?
Yesterday we did a raid in customs, and it felt like an offline raid with scavs set on horde and tag and cursed. It sounded like WWIII around us and we couldn't even stop to heal without more scavs showing up. It was so odd

I have gotten 1 tapped by scavs more than a dozen times myself... like they see u and insta kill u... its annoying
For me Lighthouse rogue feel extra beamy. If you kill any of them the ones nearby will hunt you down and chase you even long distances. Some have wandered all the way to the grocerie store in the village in the middle of the map.
They just come for you if you kill them from range
It’s great gearing up big time to get 1 tapped by a scav you can’t see through a bush or a group of trees. This has happened more to me this wipe than even before - by a MILE.
This is so crazy, if they are supposed to be hilbillys picking up left behind guns etc. How the F do they one tap me thru bushes. Like me, a trained soldier cannot see a damn thing behind it, yet consistently head, eye people.
I don't think they adjusted scavs aim for the armor change and it seems they have a tendency to target your unarmored points which is now the chest most of the time with the recent change.
I have only gotten headshot. 0 bodyshots this wipe. Literally miss miss miss hit head every time

My very first time playing Tarkov was over the weekend, loaded in as a scav and took 2 steps before being shot in the back of the head by another player scav. So even though I have no real basis, I’m gonna have to agree with you 😂

Had a scav sitting above the concrete ramp in the underground parking lot on interchange. Me and my buddy walked up the ramp and both got head eyes’d by him without even time to react. I thought it was killa at first because of how fast we died 😂💀
Yes, 1000x yes. Raiders are especially impossible to kill and insta kill you no matter how hard you try to cheese them. Absolutely crazy that BSG shadow buffs scavs for the 10th time and doesn’t acknowledge it or recognize it as a problem.
Trying to fight against them just isn't fun since seems like they were tuned to point of combating cheese tactics.
Fighting them fairly is just miserable right now.

Man i feel ya on this big time. I was just 1 tap dead all weekend. Out of the 15 - 20 raids i did. i survived maybe 3 or 4 of them. Definitely one of the worst welcome to tarkov streaks ive had in a long time. .....got to work this morning and was asked how my weekend was and all i could say was Tarkov stole my soul. My co worker had no idea wtf tarkov is but said could see the hurt in my eyes. Lol

Been playing this game for years have thousands of hours in the game just had a rough streak last weekend with lots of instant death. Doubt there is a single player that hasn't experienced that.
Seeing guys like you get pwned by scavs makes me feel a little better. I mean... I still stuck, but at least I know it's happening to everyone.

maybe it's that I only raid night time exclusively but the AI at night seems a lot easier to deal with.
They're also getting brutal with grenades. It used to only be the boss escorts that they used grenades so well but now they're lobbing out painfully accurate grenades.
I noticed toward the beginning of the wipe every few raids one of us would seem to be randomly marked. AI scavs would just relentlessly spawn and hunt one member of our team. It was to a ridiculous degree where the scavs would literally ignore the rest of our team and proceed to go to the marked player. This seemed to teeter off but man you could barely pack a mag before two more came to fight you.
I solo play and customs feels like it is so bad with this. One raid I had 30 scav kills because they just kept coming and coming

I feel like this is my first wipe where scavs have been leading there shots, i used to feel safe sprinting when being shot at but now i'm getting doinked on the move

Ha, i had a similar interaction with a flash in interchange: Guy perfectly flashes me, I'm completely blind, and he says 'Just get away from me man!'

i like how the scav was looking the other way and rather then aim at his head, you shoot his body armor and act confused. lol
5k hours into this game, this is by far the hardest scavs have felt, even with the wipe where they had scavs CRACKED. Ive been 1 tapped by scavs a good 15-20 times this wipe. It's to a point it is a meme in my group that I run with. I am always the one that dies.
noticed this day 1 of wipe, now I always use a faceshield and it has saved my life constantly
I was doing the quest where you have to shoot scavs on Woods with an iron sight and no armor... They are fast and accurate at range too... kinda wild...

90% of scavs seem normal to me I’ve had a wierd tag and cursed on reserve with normal scavs tho I didn’t even have chance to heal they just kept pushing me was fully geared
Scavs will now aggressively push gunshots that they hear. If you stay in one spot killing scavs with a loud gun, every scav in hearing range will migrate to that location.
I had a scav one tap me in the face with a slug the instant I peeked a corner yesterday on ground zero. Down I went & the scav straight laughed at me... Unbelievable. 😂
Scavs appear to be way more in line with how they seemed to me when I started playing in late 2020. It's making me play more carefully again and I really don't see much of an issue with that.
Third party nade's be like. Whenever I hear any gunshots, throw an M67 that direction and dare to dream
I have been 1 tapped by more scavs this wipe than players by FAR. And they always seem to Head, eyes me and miss my helmets completely.
ive played for 6 wipes and normally have like a 45-55% surv rate. this wipe im sitting around 38-42 partially from having to learn the new map but mostly because ive been 1 shot by scavs like 20x in 150 raids

i've died to insta-1tap scavs that give no verbal warning before they shoot from their dark bush in the corner of nowhere more times than i can count so far this wipe
Bro I'm feeling you on this, I was doing my fishing gear task and some scav was shooting me from pier boat, literally. I managed to plant but god damn
I have been more head eyes first shot from 50 meters by scavs this wipe than I ever have before. That piled on top of the amount of players shooting my face first shot has lead me to an all time hi death count. Still further than I was in previous wipes, I've just tanked hours from dying.
Most of the deaths from scavs had me thinking I got sniped by a player somewhere else, but nope it was a scav.
I watched a tracer round leave the barrel of an AK straight into my eyes when I was sniping at 100 meters at scavs lol.
I got killed by a scav yesterday that was actually facing away from me while i was pumping shotty rounds into him. The one time i actually can get a kill and BSG denies me....
Has a bug, sometimes we die with a single shot to the chest from a shotgun or .366 FMJ, I already died with Corund, TV-110 just because the game doesn't recognize the armor plates, after dying my friends go to my body and my armor has the inserts with damage but the plates are intact and there is no damage, we tested in practice mode and then the armor works almost as it should, but in normal mode the game lot off times not recognize the armor plates, and with 1,2 shots in the torax with ammo with no penetration we die.
When I hear a scav mumbling in the distance I am more frightened than facing a pmc now
Bro, I was fully looted out on reserve . Killed 2 pmc had a trizip full. I had strandhogg on almost full hp. Scav turns the corner and one taps my chest with 7.62 hp!! I was furious
Didn’t play for 2 wipes. Updated last night and had a few hours running Ground zero just to learn the map….
Got owned by scavs every single time even with G4 armors. They all seem like raiders now.
I die more to Scavs than anything, if you die to scavs you cant notice the hackers as much lol

PLEASE add the SPTarkov modders to the Live team, they have such good A.I
Scabs are wild !!!! They either voice line and Insta headshot you…or they just skip the voice line altogether and just headshots you. I died more to scavs insta tapping me then fighting the rogues.
Lighthouse can be depressing I can agree, but the way you take it is absolute horrible.
Go the same way as you came, just run into building 3 and close your self in and hold the doors, they will push you once you are inside, they will glitch through the doors or open them first.
It's the easiest way to kill them all, and they also deliver the loot to you.
Do not stay near windows, they will shoot you.
I've had one of the best wipes in terms of experience with scavs. So far have not got shot through bushes or no long shot headshots. Few times a scav has made a ridiculous spray from real far away. But, overall the best wipe in a while.
So im fairly new to the game, been playing 3 months but watched streams for about a year. im Currently a Woods and Factory main soley to get confident and better at PVP. Id say more than half my deaths in Factory were being one shot across the map while on the rafters from scavs. like almost always happens where i get two tapped too fast to even move. Same has happened near Scav house and Outskirts exit. Scavs have straight up beams, one tapped lol

Players with a high rep with skier Fence gets more scavs in raid with them and at highest level you can call the scavs to follow you around.
I was insta peeked by AI scavs a few times. Also, these mother truckers now crab walk and prone, so they can be stealthy as a pure rat. Also, BTR or killed me with a headshot lmao, as well as I died to a scav who shot my in the head from a mounted MG.
And it's pretty easy to farm scavs and hence have a high K/D ratio since they spawn in hordes in certain areas or/and can easily detect and follow your shots.
I think the easy answer is a lot of the armors scavs spawn with have been "up tiered" because the way the new armor system works but as for getting tarkovd by scavs I think that's just the way of the game
I killed 1 pmc on the hill next to dorms, then proceeded to kill 9 scavs in the same spot because they were running to me before i could loot the pmc

Welp, glad it is not just happening to me I guess. Trying to get those legshots with a bolt gun was fun. Get one shot then the scav just turns and insta headshot me each time. Took a few raids.

i dont feel like they laser me, but they themselves feel extremely tanky, i have to mag dump to get them down if its not a headshot

The amount of times I've been one tapped by a scav and m7 armor was perfectly fine is astounding.
Scavs are hella scary. AIM boting you threw bushes you can’t even see them in.
Scavs are no joke this wipe. I kinda like it, I just wish they were less accurate when shooting at a moving target. So at least we have a chance to seek hard cover.
I love that theres more scavs and chaos i wont lie. Ever since they changed the distance that scavs can see it has been a huge pain in the ass dealing with them. Theyre coded so that if even a single pixel of your hitbox is within their vision they instantly agro. You cant use concealment from scavs, and thats probably the worst part. Fighting them in the sunken village in woods is the absolute worst experience in my life. They are absurd. They see you from across the water and will beam you through the tall grass. And its even worse this wipe since the armor and ammo changes casue scavs still frequently spawn with mid tier ammo and blast your thorax 😂
Oh yeah, the sunken village along the river on Woods always had cracked scavs, shooting you from god knows where. Now with the armor changes it's even worse. Did there marking for Cult pt. 2 yesterday and had to be super careful to clear the whole area.
Scavs are either lost in the sauce or Christopher Kyle with a toz I swear

what they did to the scavs was increase the one shot kill hit box by 30 percent in the direction of the center of mass. great change

You have 2 seconds after a Scav has saw you.
I often get one tapped by random bot scavs, they either miss all shots or hit your head immediately, no in between, I just thought that's how the game always was as I started playing recently

Scav AI is a bit rough, but im ok with the difficulty, my issue is how they always seem to aim for unarmored spots and they unless you head shot them, they seem to tank the ever living crap out of whatever u shoot them with. fix the tankyness and give them a more realistic shot, and im good.
I've only ever had a scav shoot my plates on my armor once this wipe and it was when I let them shoot a little bit first then I turned my back to them and faced down, they were aiming for my head and hitting the back plate on my armor, only time I've ever seen a plate close to zero, almost always my plates come back on insurance pristine, not sure if the armor update is working as intended, I have more success running kits without armor, I am lighter and better able to react and either way I get head,eyes.
Lighthouse is the new bullshit map. Use to be shoreline but they spread the quests out. Now it’s instant head eyes rogues from across the map. Or they stack rush you and instant head eye while bugged out in a doorway.

SCAVs should do bite damage like NPCs in Rust. When a scientist shoots you in rust, the bullet damage does less than if the same bullet came from a player, and the bullet interacts with armor from a scientist differently. The bullets damage is reduced by the sum of all your armor vs wherever you were shot. In EFT, I think the game would benefit from SCAVs not being able to one shot people with lvl 2 armor and up. Not to mention player SCAVs which when you fight them, you have little to gain and alot to lose. It feels like a shitty system imo.
I haven’t had to many head eyes moments with scavs this wipe tbh I did have a bug where I feel through the map on streets though

Today i was killed by a rogue who wasn't even fucking looking at me lmao. He was focused on my friend who was on my right and the fucking rogue was facing me sideways, yet he flicked at me while being shot at from 2 sides and hit me exacly between my eyes in exactly .5 seconds after i peeked. Also the fact they can see the very top of your head through 7 bushes 300m away from you and kill you with grenade launcher makes lighthouse by far my most hated map. AI really does need tweaking.
I died to scavs more often that to PMCs this wipe like they are UBER SCAVS like GIGA SCAVS this wipe , every time i would hear a scav voice line I would immediately go and seek cover XD
So over the snow. It really cool but man can they make it a rotational thing or something. Id like to hear something other than the snow crunching

Yeap! Confirmed that. Also want to say that at the beginning of the wipe AI scavs was at the previous level. But after week they buffed them. They more now cheeky breeky I guess 😁
My duo and i have been dying one shot to scavs every other raid. Its been so bad this wipe.
I've actually not had too many issues with AI scavs this wipe, which comes as a surprise. The Rogues on the other hand, are a different story.
As a bang average player, my main issue is still trying to complete tasks with numerous player scavs spawning so early into the raid and running me down. I am finding Interchange and Lighthouse ridiculously hard in particular.

Ducking/crouching is instadeath in Tarkov. I've noticed that a long time ago. Everything they shoot hits your head.

I spawned in on factory. 3 scav npcs rushed me killed me immediately as I spawned I thought it was players at first but alas just a scav name

I haven't had problems with the AI, I HAVE had problems with normal AI scavs eating multiple headshots. I got out of one raid yesterday with 101 shots fired, 81 hits, 12 scavs killed.

Scavs are super easy this wipe but the Rogues are mad fuckers. Problem is you get hit in chest with armor but they hit the place without the plate and your dead.
