  • A Crack in Time, ran from May - July 2015 and involved over a thousand school children from across the East Midlands. It was staged at Papplewick Pumping Station and performed by Dragon Breath Theatre. At the core of this theatre in education production was to raise children's awareness of historical and contemporary water issues at both home and world wide and to emphasize the importance of water to us all. The project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Garfield Weston Foundation, Arts Council England, Museum Development East Midlands.

Really excellent, what I would term real and proper learning. The only suggestion I would make is that this should be compulsory education and hopefully, in time, people would have a different attitude to perhaps our most precious commodity, clean water.
