Truly an amazing look into the past on how refuse was collected and handled back in the day before the true advent of commercial collection so prevalent today.

Does anyone use these hoist/ containers anymore? Every now and then, I see these on a auction site, but the bodies get taken off the chassis, or they are on auction too long and they get sold for scrap.

There was a LFW on a older Autocar, but it was delisted. I saw a LFW on a Acterrra for $59 000 USD on Truck Site.
