Hey question for you. Have you had any freeze up problems since you removed the suction valve? Thanks for the videos. They've been helpful for my retrofit project.
Question my ac compressor work, my ac high line gets frosty cold but I get no cold air in the cabin, any idea why I’m getting no cold air in the cabin?
I don't, but its basically the same, I did the same thing on my SC400 didn't film it cuz I'm lame. Dm me on IG if you have any Questions happy to help if I can, Everyone needs AC!
@@BuildTheoryZ Thanks. I'm in the process of replacing my compressor and dryer as I'm doing the R12 to R134a conversion. I'm just trying to figure out how much oil to put into the system as I don't think all the mineral oil can be flushed out without an $1mill machine or all the AC components removed and cleaned.
Your videos are great for this Z32! Thank you. Too bad I'm struggling on putting the core back in and came back to watch you do just that... How did you get the left side of the core case to fit past the large plastic piece? Any tips you can give me would be much appreciated! Thanks again
The A/C Evaporator? The Aftermarket One I used didn't fit as good as the OEM One. I had to kinda "Guide" it back in to place. Is that what your referring to?
Hey, love your vids, they're giving me a good idea of where to start with my brand new one. I was wondering where you got your straighter valves from because if I can, I want to try and replace as many of the parts as possible. The AC works there is just no heat. Thanks!
straighter valves, you can get them at any auto Parts store. If your A/c works there shouldn't need to open the A/C system. as for the heat assuming the heater core is still hooked up and no one bypassed it, the blend door could be stuck only letting the cool air by or could be the climate control module. Good Luck out there!
Good video. The can of clean and flush says to dry out the system with nitrogen gas after flushing. Did you do that? If so, when? Before or after reconnecting everything? Thanks
hey jesse recently bought a 300zx and am fixing the ac i currently flushed out all the lines bought a reman compressor because the one it had originally has a bad clutch on it, i put all new o-rings on each connection and now tackling the expansion valve finally took out the whole thing out today and tried taking out the valve but i really chewed up the pipes so i was wondering if you can send a link on where you got yours from and what “changes” you had to do in order to fit in?
Yeah as you Saw My Lines got Damaged as well. This is the one I got for a replacement ebay.us/IFZLds . I had to get rid of the white Styrofoam casing inside the evaporating to get it to fit, its a little different than the OEM Evaporator. I also used the cork tape to insulate around where it touched the casing to try and stop it from rubbing on the Plastic. I had footage but my memory card decided it needed to wipe its self.
Hey Tex, Can NOT Flush The AC Compressor, Expansion Valve and Receiver Drier. There Was a lot of corrosion on that Valve. I just did the same Service on a Lexus SC and I was able to get the Valve in a vice and break it loose.
Do you have any plans on releasing the video where you recharge the system?
Could you put a link to all products you used? Orings, valves, etc?
My EVAP is out right now so I'm going to take it apart as that didn't even cross my mind

Hello, what low and high pressure should you have on the lines?
Did you have to remove the dash and the large horizontal metal bar under the dash in order to get the evaporator box out?
