Liebherr LTR1100 Tutorial

A short tutorial about the Liebherr LTR1100 100 ton telescopic crawler crane, i thought id make a few short clips of "how to" videos on certain cranes. these videos are just to help anybody either a new operator or a experienced operator as a quick guide. by no means am i a instructor and you should always get a factory induction and consult the operators Manuel that's supplied with the crane.

So different everywhere. i was told no lower then 68 degrees to extend more boom (LTM 1050 and 1060).

Everyone does it different. I have been told to to scope out at 60 degree in school. When with actual operators they tell you 70-75 degrees to scope in and out, to have less wear and tear on the sliding pads.

Lol. I drive mobilecranes myself and i would rather operate the ltr 1100 aswell. But after watching the crane gang i cant forget what you said at 48:40😂

I've been a tower crane operator for 12 years looking for something different. What do you reckon about the crawler, do you enjoy driving it? Only thing for me, it means going back to a red card for a while.

Mart I wouldn’t operate anything else, only thing Iv ever done since leaving school plus my dad and grandad was also crawler operators.

How do you a just the speed for the swing and the cable from the main

Zachariah Magallan on the levers there’s a button on the left, you hold that down for a few seconds and the pump speeds show on the main screen, you can adjust them by moving the levers from there. I’ll do another video next week showing how to do it if you want.
