Totally agree. There is some kind of story telling thing in Powerage that threads all the songs. I can’t explain cause I don’t understand it but it’s there. It’s a very cohesive album.
Brian's voice here suits it so much better than it would have had they played it back in the 80s when his vocals were technically more intense. It's so good here, so bluesy and soulful.
The groove continues over i Highway for the most part, but with less heavy lyrics-Malcom said powerage was for the diehards which i think is true..love the album.
0:34 Listen to the way the groove completely changes when Malcolm fully comes in, mid-verse at “Bought a ticket of her own accord”. It’s the perfect example of why he was the absolute backbone of the band.
+AC/DC⚡ Brian's voice was at its best in 2003 that it had been since the early 80's, Just listen to Back In Black at Circus Krone his voice is amazing and he hits all the notes just like on the album.
Ranks in the top 3 for me. Love it!!! PoerAge way inder-rated and shows the real musicianship of all these guys. Real roots players all. (Bon set the standard and Brian delivers the goods on this one)
I was there. It was so hot. Brian took off his shirt and squeezed it and the sweat dropped down on the stage. The boys brought almost the same light show they use in big halls and so it was like a sauna. They opened the doors whenever the cannons shot because there was too much pression in the small venue. Great show
Except the whole album. Most of the Bon stuff is more generic rock n roll, but Powerage to me, is his most personal album and lyrical highpoint. It is Bon's. Only Sin City is the exception.
Powerage was the best Bon Scott era album imo. To me they really defined the sound of AC/DC in that album. Brian did a damn fine job covering this. He almost sounds just like Bon in the opening verses.
This is amazing. Peoples comments have said it all already. When I want to play what I consider to be prime ac,/,DC I play this song or gimme a bullet or down payment blues. I dunno. Have forever. Amazing to hear this I'm blown away. To cool they played this. This is so amazing. Not even close to commercial. I'd say this is true ac at its finest. Omg yes. When I was real young before highway to hell I thought bon was saying brown sugar :) tears.
I love the way Brian seems almost overwhelmed by how amazing his band are...in fact the band often look like they can't contain the awesomeness of their sound.. greatest band ever..(since the Rolling Stones anyway )
straightsix1 i heard it live on july 8th 2001 in Cologne / Germany on the final gig of their SUL tour. It was quite a surprise and was great to be there
Wish i'd been there. So easy appreciate Angus in this performance. Enticing us with his many tasty licks, the rock n roll icing! Those superb flourishes! He serves up eargasm after eargasm here. Deliciously sweet playing.
Thank YOU very muche for upload.... I see only one time AC/DC on live in Warszawa Greetings for YOU for ALL from Poland 🤝✌️ R'N'R Forever 🎸 Btw...how many time this ABSOLUTELY GREAT BAND was on Deutschland? And one more question. This concert where was he? In the club, it doesn't look like a stadium, although of course I'm not sure. Ok. Thanks. Kind regards P.S.Spoczywaj w Wiecznym Ukojeniu Malcolm,Bon .Brakuje was .Takich muzyków,z taką charyzmą i talentem nie spotyka się często. W moim ,w naszych serwisach jestescie i będziecie zawsze ❗⚡
Crowd digs this song, not a clue why it`s not on the last 2 tour`s setlist......Much better than The Jack...... Hard as a rock was another they stopped playing and was a huge success.
one of their best songs off possibly the most under rated album of all time.
Their best album for me. At the zenith.
Agreed
Powerage is the # 1 AC/DC album. Bon forever!🎤🎤🎤
Along with Down Payment Blues

Agreed. This song has a definite Stones vibe. Love it.
С боном не сравнится ни когда бон лучший💯

@@Paxton13С Брайном группа ничего не потеряла.Бесспорно ,что Бон был уникальным,однако лучший альбом Back and black записан с Джонсоном
Powerage was the best AC/DC album of all time.
totally agree. The Zenith of their carreer.
The groove continues over i Highway for the most part, but with less heavy lyrics-Malcom said powerage was for the diehards which i think is true..love the album.
Hmm. Yep. My favorite ac dc. Album. Didn't like the vocals so much in this but the band nailed it
Any Bon song Brian tries he murders it. Oooh! My ears.
@@khay1969123 yess 😂...but I think Bon can't sing brian songs...I can't image bon scott that sing thunderstruck or big gun
This one should be on the standard setlist
I agree this is one of the best AcDc songs I was born when this song came out. 1977
Gone Shooting, Who Made Who, Down payment Blues, This House Is On Fire, Touch Too Much, and Hard as A Rock should be on the standard set
TheInsideJobOf9/11
I think he actually did one time
TheInsideJobOf9/11
I’ll look around
Nice one

Good ears
He was indeed ! Malcolm riffs are sexy beast !
Saying “it completely changes” is maybe a bit too much 😅 Malcolm is fucking awesome tho
Man what a tight groove!! Phil and Cliff are awsome.
Greatest rock n roll band of all time.
Cry❤❤👍🙏🙏
This band was born to play blues. With Bon and Brian. Jesus Christ, this is fucking intense stuff.
Auriemma NEED to VENT Bob Scott
Cliff's like, "That's right folks, we're doing this one!"
Brian's voice fits just perfectly to this song!
This is one of the best versions of this song I've heard. Everything is just nailed, Angus at his fluid peak.
Wow Brian is really singing this in a good shape! Keep it up!

***** hahaha! ahahaha! that's a good joke my friend, please tell me more.
agreed but "Bon" will always be the better vocal.we miss you mate....
+AC/DC⚡ Brian's voice was at its best in 2003 that it had been since the early 80's, Just listen to Back In Black at Circus Krone his voice is amazing and he hits all the notes just like on the album.
+dubhad wtf are you talkin about? fanboy eh? vocally he is way better than Bon (when compared in their primes).
One of the best songs by AcDc... Brian does it great...!!!
Christ...shit hot. Absolutely my favorite Acca Dacca track.
Me and my band in high school used to cover this song. We all loved it so much!
Ranks in the top 3 for me. Love it!!! PoerAge way inder-rated and shows the real musicianship of all these guys. Real roots players all. (Bon set the standard and Brian delivers the goods on this one)
Man, Brian's voice is so good
what a riff in this ... its hard to stop listening
when I assemble my All Time Band - the drum spot is always reserved for Phil.

Great show
*There’s NO ONE... quite like AC/DC... 100% commitment & professional to the very end of each ‘GLORIOUS SONG’..!* :PEACE:🕊❤️😎
Even though Bon's voice is sorely missed, Brian does a great job and really does seem to enjoy himself singing the older tunes.
This looks like an intimate show. That's awesome. I'd kill to see them in a small setting.
I am grateful to live at the same time on this planet as AC/DC! ♥️
There is no other..AC/DC is just pure rock n roll. God dam it's good.🤘⚡️🤘
When that guy shouted "WHOLE LOTTA ROSIEEEE" I was like.. "well obviously they're gonna play that later, just chill"
@@patorr69 they played Giving the Dog a Bone back in 2016
One of my all-time AC/DC favorites off my favorite AC/DC album.
I love when Brian covers Bon's earlier stuff.
except this song..

yeah sadly dunno his if you want blood is also so terrible i cringe everytime i hear it live
I prefer almost all of the older songs with Brian on vocals.
I couldn't agree more. Powerage has always been my favourte. But I've always thougth Brian did Sin City justice.
Pure magic. Fantastic performance by the whole band, and what an awesome sound / visual recording!
Powerage was the best Bon Scott era album imo. To me they really defined the sound of AC/DC in that album. Brian did a damn fine job covering this. He almost sounds just like Bon in the opening verses.

Cliff and Phili are the coolest
I just love that song, the whole awesome Powerage album
I come back to this and listen so often. This band fucking LIVES in the pocket.
This song is so bad ass! I cant believe I never heard it before the beavis and butthead movie??? And I been listening to them for 30 years!!
I love the way Brian seems almost overwhelmed by how amazing his band are...in fact the band often look like they can't contain the awesomeness of their sound.. greatest band ever..(since the Rolling Stones anyway )
Best damn hard rock band ever...year after year.... Blue jeans, t-shirts, jack daniels n metal rhythm blaring in your face
The gods will always smile and the light will always shine on ac/dc
In my top 5 all time best acdc tunes
I love my boys from down under ! Rock & Roll don't get no better then AC/DC !!!
Descanse en paz, Malcolm. Nadie como tu

Love seeing Malcom
When it has the pretend ending and they start up again and the crowd start clapping along. GOOSEBUMPS
This song is awesome *-* i love it
This need to be in the set for the next tour.No question about it. That can't just perform at it like this once and never do it again.
Awesome song. ACDC forever.
Esta canción es una joya

Those drums🤘
Underrated song and album
unbelievable song 👍👏Rock 'n roll forever !
an absolute classic /fave..love the timbre of the drums in this ..see angus reach blissed out state @ 2:50 ..delicious riff too
For the best version of this song check out the live Nashville 78 performance with Bon. It is absolutely unreal. But this aint bad at all.
The band plays it better in 2003 and brian does a great job !
Lenard Reis
We'll agree to disagree Lenard and just keep rocking.
All the 1978 live versions of this song are insanely good. Nashville, Boston, Columbus, Nijmegen, ... all pieces of art. Hidden gems.
I love you
Brian sings this one very well.
Thank YOU very muche for upload....

I think that the Stiff Upper Lip tour was the band at its finest. Saw them twice on that tour. Greatness.
That is true. But I think the Razors Edge tour was the best ever obviously live at Donnington
Wow !! Great FKN sound for a CAM !!!
Can't stop watching over and over. Phil's left hand by never stops. God dang. Special
Was geht da denn ab, Super geil, die meisten kennes es nur von Bon als Sänger, aber Brain ist hier einfach nur genial. Rock on
AC/DC is the best hard rock band forever !
It doesn't get much better than this
cliff use the clothes of the 80's!
Love this .. and Phil Rudd's heavy weight drums
Crowd digs this song, not a clue why it`s not on the last 2 tour`s setlist......Much better than The Jack...... Hard as a rock was another they stopped playing and was a huge success.
I want to enjoy anything the way Angus enjoys guitar
The boys need to have the fans make the set list up!
What a great live version of this song! Thanks for posting this!
Best song ever! Love it.
Yeehaaa yessss one of my favorits 💪...Powerage...unbeaten ACDC album...simply great music 😈💪👍
Awesome album. Powerage and FOTS are the two most underrated albums for me.
Yes it was & George Young co. Produce DVD or album.
Лучшие. Ещё жив Малкольм. Золотой состав.
ok, Can you hear the crowd after the riff?
70's stuff is the BEST ever. Yes indeed (even without Bon Scot)
Great performance of a great song.
Ахеренный звук! Спасибо, Бро!
Powerage es el disco más underrated de la discografía de ACDC. Y éste es alto rock 'n roll.
I'm this musak, green in the sixties, ripe in the 80's and still flowering in the 2000's! Gone shootin*!
Great performance by Brian.
massa d+ amo ac/dc!!!!
melhor banda de todos os tempos!!!
The Best..
I love alot of rock and roll bands and A C D C is one of my favorite Bands

Best damn band to ever exist.
Finally a successful version, close to that of the record
Powerage best AC⚡️DC album 🤘🏻solid from start to finish.
Omg. Hair standing up. Strange how this seams so different than what they would normally play. Awesome,!
19 people must play through Line 6 amps and think Kirk Hammett is the best guitar player in the world.
This shit still kicks my 61 year old ass a fat joint and ac/dc it doesn't get any better and some folks just don't get it this is fuckin rock n roll
fuckinhell he makes that guitar cry....
Even Keef says it’s his favourite album cos of the rawness of it. Gotta agree.
